Any time I see fabrics that remind me of home, I jump for joy for the future of fashion. Although this jacquard peplum blouse is little, it does it for me. And what do I mean by jump for joy? It is because more and more Designers and Fashion labels are embracing African Fabrics and prints.
My blouse today is made from what we call Jacquard in Africa. The fabric is lush in detail and pretty in print. I am from Nigeria by the way, Nigeria is in West Africa 🙂
It is no secret that I insist my photos are not over processed with editing and photoshop so I don’t look different to people when I meet them in real life. Thankfully, I have met so many of you who end up saying, you look same like your photos.
And because I don’t like to photoshop my photos to perfect my skin, I have dedicated time to learn and I am still learning how to take good care of my skin. Today, I bring to you how to reduce facial fine lines and wrinkles……

Statement necklaces has been my go to these days. A lot of times, I grab one and work my entire outfit around it. Today’s look is no exception because my go to today is this tribal looking necklace I have had at home for a long time.
Although in my wedding anniversary post, I mentioned I was going to share the full details of my “Ghana weaving”, a lot of you have also bombarded me with the request of the details since I first shared it on Instagram. Thank you for sending me your request 🙂
This hair style is called different things by different people. For example, I call it the Ghana braids. Some call it the Ghana cornrows, some Ghana weave, some Ghana weaving and I call it Ghana braids like I mentioned earlier.
Recently, I shared some summer trends to try with you. In that post, I shared trends like the lace up flats which a lot of you think can pass for classic, I agree with you all hundred percent.
Still on trends to try for trend lovers, today, I bring you some more trends to try….
In our home, anniversaries, birthdays and all memorable occasions are very precious to us so we like to celebrate in our own way. On every 26th of June since we became man and wife, my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year was no exception because as usual; we celebrated in our own way which is usually a meal out if we can, exchange gifts and retire back home. Sometimes we think we are too homely for our own liking but we love it.
Welcome to a brand new week my beautiful friends. I call you friends because you are always so supportive and encouraging; that’s what friends do right?. If I could send each and everyone of you flowers, I would but since I couldn’t, I send you my love and prayers daily. Thank you for the love, your comments and feedbacks daily here on the Moj in Touch blog and on all other Channels linked to Moj in Touch.
A statement necklace can instantly change the look of an outfit. A zero percent (0%) look can go straight to a hundred percent (100%) with a statement necklace.
The statement necklaces come in different sizes, shapes and colours. Today, I bring you 3 different ways I paired one of my favourite statement necklaces; in the artsy work style way, in a glamorous way and in an African style way.
Below, I have more statement necklaces for your style inspiration and details of the ones I was wearing.
I was invited to host a “style lab” in a group recently and one of the questions I got asked was what is the difference between dressed up and dressed down? I loved the question and I answered it to the best of my ability. Today, I will share the answer I gave with you……….
Right here on the blog, minimalism, practicality, chic and sleek are a few of the words I use a lot and today’s look embodies all 4; the look is dressed down yet polished with a hint of street style.
As classic as I am I follow trends. I follow trends because it is part of my duty to as a Stylist and Blogger to know what is in, what is trending and what is out. It is also always my pleasure to try out these trends especially the not so trendy ones.
Today, I present to you 5 unexpected trend that has taken the fashion world by storm.
Happy 4th of July everyone. It is my husband’s birthday today as well. I celebrate him and pray for him. He is indeed a gentle man who puts his family first before every other thing. Happy birthday to you dear hubby, God bless and keep you, amen.
For the sake of the people who don’t know what the 4th of July is, it is a federal holiday in the USA. It is a declaration of Independence day 4/7/1776 and the birth of the USA as an Independent nation.
You know the saying when you fail to plan you are simply planning to fail; I have to be honest, this phrase is not applicable to mums because as a mum no matter how much you plan, you could still fail sometimes. Let’s take for example, you have set out all you need to go to church on a Sunday morning, you dress all the children up(2 girls and a boy for example) and as soon as you turn around to do other things, your dear son grabs the cup of tea sitting on the coffee table and boom, there it goes all over his body and then you have to change his clothes again and before you know it, you are late already.
