My Family Affair – A Little Rant, Confessions and Photos

Our son turns 15 today and we are truly grateful for the love of the Father in our lives. Not only am I celebrating his birthday, as a Mum, I am truly grateful to God for the kind, humble, smart, focused, loving and compassionate son God has given to us. He rubs off on his brother, leading by example. I have watched him take charge and stepped in numerously to help his brother in so many ways – homework, conduct, guidance and much more. I remember being sick one time and I was shocked by how this child of mine took care of me – even though I wasn’t well and I needed care, I couldn’t help but think of how he took care of me – tucked me in to bed and watched me sleep off till he went to his room. He is all these and more, but let me stop here. Truly grateful for his life.

Instead, far too many people wear the negativity and discouragement crown. Unfortunately, negativity or negative energy doesn’t encourage anyone, it rubs us of our potentials and or the willingness to try what we feel we can do. Today on Motivation for Monday, I want to share with you some of the life lessons I learnt from Lionheart, the movie.

Turban, Layered Necklace & Maxi Dress + How to Look Fab on a Bad Hair Day
