BOOK UPDATE I can finally say I am an Author! I am excited about this but most importantly, I give all praises back to God. He gave me the inspiration to write this book. For the past two years, I have written motivation for Mondays here on the blog and for me to…
I have been gently transitioning into natural hair for some time now. When I say transitioning, I mean I decided not to have a big chop; I am gently trimming my textured hair (relaxed hair or chemically straightened hair) off as my natural hair continues to grow.
Since I have been transitioning, I decided not to buy any hair products until I did a thorough research. After researching and doing some reading too, I decided to try out the “Cantu Shea Butter” hair products. Today, I bring you my findings, it is been good………
As a “church girl”, I have to say I am a bit conservative in my approach when it comes to styling. However, I do my best to chip in other kinds of styling from time to time; especially for younger audience and to cater for everyone really like the mini dresses I wore HERE & HERE and crop blouses like HERE.
Since I tend to gravitate more towards all things midi, today I bring you some of my favourite midi skirts and dresses for Winter. I hope you find inspiration in the styling. Now, let’s get started………
Black Friday wasn’t as popular here in Ireland up until about 2 years ago. Since it is now a tradition and a lot of Irish stores are joining in, I thought to share some tips and tricks for shopping the Black Friday deals or sales with you. These tips and tricks are also relevant to any other kinds of sale and for any other parts of the world too. The idea for buying or shopping the sale is to save money and buy good deals BUT it is possible to also waste money if care is not taken. To avoid such money wasting adventure, please read…….
On Saturday, I spoke at an Enterprise & Careers day in Dublin. There were other speakers from different works of life; 2 Doctors, an amazing lady from Google, a Psychiatrist, a Forensic Accountant and an Amazing Irish Youth Pastor who also happens to be an Author. It was an awesome event and I thoroughly enjoyed been a part of it.
Speaking at this event made me realise one thing and that thing, I will share with you today on Motivation for Monday………
Anytime I dress down (wear casuals), I always look for ways to dress up or accessorise the look to make it look dressy / well put together / chic. Today’s look is an example of dressing down in what is considered street style but chic.
I am currently having a round of style master class. In these classes, I have a Google hangout with women from different parts of the world and I help them discover their style, what works for their life style and personal style etc, and skin care.
Skin care is a bonus for the master class and every time we get to skin care, all the women (mostly women of colour) ask the same question which is why do dark skin tone need sun protection factor?
Sun protection factor is not limited to people with fair skin only (Caucasians or White). Everyone needs SPF in their skin care regimen and daily too. Why?
As you can tell from the title, it is a 2 in one post . On this blog, we mix the look book with some motivation. Life is too short to be stylish alone. We all have to learn to dress up and show up to fulfil purpose even if our job is a stylist. I am a Stylist by the way who also happens to be a Motivational Speaker.
Today, I will be sharing with you how to style leggings and on Motivation, the reason WHY I believe New Year’s Resolutions is “crap” and a goal killer. On my journey to self, I changed just one thing, it was my life philosophy. One of such philosophies is the New Year Resolutions…….
Mrs O as she’s fondly called by the media or Mother-in-Chief as was described by Vogue is a woman of class and grace. She is a woman every woman wants to be like. She is powerful, beautiful, poised, intelligent, smart and the out going first lady of the USA amongst so many other things.
Today, I bring you Michelle Obama as the cover girl on the December 2016 Issue of Vogue magazine.
I bought this “bomber jacket” about 7 years ago. Yeah, you heard me right….7 years ago! On the day I got it, I got a black version too. I have worn the black version more than I have worn this one and that is why it looks almost like new. I had it stored away for some reason but decided to bring it out on this day for coffee run……
This look is a typical errand look book and the kind I spot when I do things like school run, drive the boys to places like football, basketball and any of their activities really. Another casual chic school run look book can be found HERE
Black and brown are not 2 colours a lot of people mix together because both hues are dark. However in the Autumn and Winter, they are 2 of the most popular colours you see around when it comes to clothes. You see them in form of coats or jackets, and so many other accessories. I went to the shops yesterday and I saw so many blacks and browns(tan, coffee, dark brown) on the shop displays and they look so fine……..
Today, on Motivation, Should I give up on my set goals now?
In the colder months like November, December and January, the skin feels really dry or drier than normal. In these months, your make up lasts longer because their is little or no sun. Basically you do not sweat so much because there is less heat. To get that dewy and flawless skin for the season, no negotiations, you have to moisturise, moisturise and moisturise, if not your skin becomes drier. Your lips need moisture too.

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Hope you are doing well and your week is going great. The main feature on today’s look is the cape scarf. Capes come in different colours and shapes. They are a gorgeous trend. Even though they have been around for a long time, they are still making fashion statement everywhere. They are also…
I have come to terms that regular length trousers will never be long enough on me no matter how generous they are in length. It is part of my vision to be able to create a line of super long trousers / pants collection in the future for tall women like myself. At least trousers long enough for women with long legs.
Today’s look is another example of a not long enough trousers but “men”, I had to rock it like that 🙂 But seriously, do you have length problems with trousers?
Here in Ireland, it is a bank holiday today. I believe it is the same in other parts of the world that celebrate “Halloween”. Although it is a bank holiday, someone like myself and many other online Entrepreneurs (Bloggers, Vloggers, Writers, Coaches etc) have to work. It is interesting when you live a lap top life because there is always something to do 🙂
Furthermore, even though I have to work, working today is one of those things I consider IMPORTANT BUT NOT URGENT! What do I mean? I will tell you that on Motivation for Monday, please stay with me.
Today’s post was inspired by Michelle Obama’s look at her final state dinner. Michelle rocked a gorgeous golden Versace dress which looked super elegant and perfect for the occasion. The dress was not just perfect, her hair and make up were also on point. She had on this gorgeous golden lip gloss and I thought wow, perfect!
So today, I bring you a highly requested “nude lip combination” I love to wear. I just had to film this one because of Mrs Obama. Thanks Michelle.
One of the Kardashian sisters, Khloe, is trending right now because of her new denim line called the “Good American”. However, after reading the reviews of the denims, I concluded they are good BUT the price is ridiculously high like her fans says. The price of the denim starts at $197. Expensive right?
You may not be able to buy the Good American denim or jeans because they are so expensive but you can wear your high street ones stylishly. This is exactly what I am going to be sharing with you in this post.
Since it is Autumn, all my looks today are Autumn perfect and ones you can take from day to night. Now let’s have a look at them…….
When you think of Autumn, you think dull colours like black, navy or even purple or warm tone shades of floral like brown or orange. When you think of summer on the other hand, you think delicate, sheer and breathable fabrics. In today’s post, I decided to mix pieces from two seasons……
On Motivation for Monday, I will share with you one principal that will make you get everything you need in life.
It is a DIY (do it yourself) kind of day today! On this post, you will learn how to get soft, smooth and silky lips with my tested and trusted homemade recipes for exfoliating your lips.
But first, recently, I wrote a blog on LIP THERAPY. That post is all about everything you need to know about the do’s and don’ts of the lips. If you missed it, you may want to check it out because today’s post is like a continuation of that post.
I knew it wasn’t going to be too long before I shared another way to spot this oversized bow detail shirt. I first styled it here a couple of weeks ago. I loved the shirt then and I still love it now and it is one piece that will be in my closet for a long time. 🙂
I am a huge fan of maximising, this is truly what style is all about. Style isn’t running to the shop every week or trying to be someone else, style is being who you are .i.e being “in touch” with you.
“Recently”, I found an abnormality in my right breast. I was not sure so I went in to see my Doctor who immediately checked to see what the problem was…
When it comes to my body and self care, I do not leave anything to chance. I do my best to take care of myself because I have to be well to take care of every one else God has trusted in my care. I encourage everyone, especially all women and mothers to do the same. You have to be well before you can take care of other people. Please take care of yourself always.
This weather is not a problem, it is a challenge!
Today I will talk you through that on motivation for Monday but first, the look. Today is all about double the colour for Autumn. How was your weekend beautiful people. Mine was packed….in a good way though.
Amazingly, I know a lot about photography because of the photographers I work with + personal development. I also take great photos but ironically, I can’t take my own photos myself. I am gutted by that actually.
One of my goals as a fashion blogger is to be able to take my own photos myself. I have a solid camera and a tripod; these are the two things anyone needs to take photos I believe. I am hopeful to dedicate time to that real soon. If you have any TIPS on taking photos yourself, please share them with me below.
If you’ve started thinking about prom 2017, and you know, it’s never too early to start thinking about prom, chances are you have been looking at dresses. If you’re looking for dresses that can make you the center of attention, consider Sherri Hill’s 2017 collection. The famous designer’s Spring/Summer collection for 2017 is set…
Last week, my dear friend, Stella from Fashion and Style police crowned me the queen of “white wearers”. In her words, she said, “Moji wears white like a boss”…ha ha. I like that! Thank you Stella. And because of that, today, I bring you a post on how to wear white like a boss.
