In our home, anniversaries, birthdays and all memorable occasions are very precious to us so we like to celebrate in our own way. On every 26th of June since we became man and wife, my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year was no exception because as usual; we celebrated in our own way which is usually a meal out if we can, exchange gifts and retire back home. Sometimes we think we are too homely for our own liking but we love it.

Welcome to a brand new week my beautiful friends. I call you friends because you are always so supportive and encouraging; that’s what friends do right?. If I could send each and everyone of you flowers, I would but since I couldn’t, I send you my love and prayers daily. Thank you for the love, your comments and feedbacks daily here on the Moj in Touch blog and on all other Channels linked to Moj in Touch.

I was invited to host a “style lab” in a group recently and one of the questions I got asked was what is the difference between dressed up and dressed down? I loved the question and I answered it to the best of my ability. Today, I will share the answer I gave with you……….

Right here on the blog, minimalism, practicality, chic and sleek are a few of the words I use a lot and today’s look embodies all 4; the look is dressed down yet polished with a hint of street style.

As classic as I am I follow trends. I follow trends because it is part of my duty to as a Stylist and Blogger to know what is in, what is trending and what is out. It is also always my pleasure to try out these trends especially the not so trendy ones.

Today, I present to you 5 unexpected trend that has taken the fashion world by storm.

Happy 4th of July everyone. It is my husband’s birthday today as well. I celebrate him and pray for him. He is indeed a gentle man who puts his family first before every other thing. Happy birthday to you dear hubby, God bless and keep you, amen.

For the sake of the people who don’t know what the 4th of July is, it is a federal holiday in the USA. It is a declaration of Independence day 4/7/1776 and the birth of the USA as an Independent nation.

You know the saying when you fail to plan you are simply planning to fail; I have to be honest, this phrase is not applicable to mums because as a mum no matter how much you plan, you could still fail sometimes. Let’s take for example, you have set out all you need to go to church on a Sunday morning, you dress all the children up(2 girls and a boy for example) and as soon as you turn around to do other things, your dear son grabs the cup of tea sitting on the coffee table and boom, there it goes all over his body and then you have to change his clothes again and before you know it, you are late already.

Wow, it is then end of another fabulous month; the month of June. Like I always say, I am ever so thankful for everything. I am thankful for strength to run this blog, I am thankful for you dear readers who take the time to stop by daily; I sincerely appreciate the love and support, I do not take it for granted. I am particularly thankful to everyone who takes the time to leave me great feedbacks; your kind words inspire me to do more. Thank you so much.

You may have noticed if you read the blog that I do my best to share some motivation with you. Today in my Palazzo pants, I am doing just that again. I only write Motivation on Mondays to encourage someone out there who think they can never be anything or do anything successfully or they are not good enough or unemployed or broke or afraid to go afraid their dreams…..etc.

If anyone asks me what is the one thing they should have in their closet for Summer, I would say a white pair of jeans amongst so many other things like a lovely maxi dress, some kind of floral, tunics and a lovely hat etc. Talking of hats, remember I told you I was looking for a hat to buy for summer, I finally got one and would share the styling with you soon.

Don’t Use Photoshop, Use These Practical Photography TIPS

I do have an amazing Photographer who understands why I do not like to be photoshopped. Why? Please read more to find out….

We have so much fun when shooting together and nothing compares to that girl bond we have on set. Even though we have so much fun when shooting, we learn so much as well. She has actually taught me a lot of things I couldn’t have learnt on my own and some of those things I would share with you in this post.

As I dash away in my little “Romper” and boyfriend shirt, I thought to share some travel tips with you today because I know a lot of you just like me will be travelling to one place or the other this Summer.

In my humble opinion, Summer time is that one season a lot of us in this part of the world look forward to because we get to enjoy the sun and we get a break from work to travel; well for people who love travelling.

HOW TO AVOID BUYING FAKE GOODS (luxury goods & high street)

Recently, a friend of mine sent me the pictures of the items she ordered from a seller online; when she got the items, the pieces she saw in the photos were not what she received in person. Holy crap right? She was tricked into buying rubbish / fake. She is not the only one, a lot of people have fallen into this trap of fraud where they buy things from online scammers who steal photos from reputable brands to sell their products.

Kindness ::: Multicoloured Maxi & Off the Shoulder

When I first heard the saying being kind is different from being nice, I thought what is the difference? Even though the former and the latter are almost similar, there is a massive difference between the two.

It is almost like saying the “maxi skirt is the same as the full maxi skirt. The full maxi skirt and the maxi skirt sound alike but there is a difference between the two as well. What is the difference between the two you’d say? I will tell you…..
