BLOGGING MISTAKES I COULD HAVE AVOIDED (part 2) ::: NOT ASKING

We all know if we type in any queries into Google, we would find answers, correct right?

But there is this saying where I am from that says “you may have enough treasures/riches like the old but you can never have more rags/experience like them”. What this simply means is no matter how smart you are as a child, you can never be wiser/experienced like an adult.

STANDING IN BASICS ::: Denim, Organza Blouse & Cut Out Booties

The calmness I felt after my quiet time early this the morning was what drew me to this “statement shirt”. The purity of the shirt feels exactly like what I felt inside.

Inside of me, I felt a sense of calm! It was the Calmness in my heart that led me beside the still water(s) at this location for photos. The location was quiet, peaceful and calm just like I felt inside.

MAKE LEMONADE ::: COLOURFUL BOW NECK TUBE DRESS

For today’s look, I decided to make all things bright, bold and beautiful in this colourful bow neck tube dress. After all, spring is all about colours. This look is simply a case of if life throws you a lemon, just make lemonade.  The weather as you can see in the photos was dark but the dress was colourful enough to make everything bright and beautiful.

TREND TO TRY ::: THE CROPPED DENIM / PANTS

Finding the perfect pants / trousers for almost every woman is a challenge.  Ask me what do I mean?

See, I am a “tall girl” and for me, trousers are always a challenge because my legs from my natural waist line to my feet are about 46 inches. No I am not a giant but that is the story of my life. My legs are longer than my trunk. I like the proportion though, I am not complaining.

The trouser story is the same for every woman or almost every woman. When it comes to trousers / pants, is either they are too long or too short or too wide or too “something”………..

There is however something that now binds us all together, it is the crop trousers or pants.

MAXIMISING BASICS ::: ONE BLAZER, FIVE WAYS

When it comes to basics, blazers are about the most important one in my humble opinion. Not only are they perfect for when you attend an interview, they are also the perfect style piece to take a look from “drag” to “fab”. In simple terms, the blazer adds polish and sophistication to any look.

Add a blazer to a dressed down look and you will look chic and well put together instantly.

Today, I present to you one blazer styled in five different ways. I hope you find the looks inspiring. Now, let’s get started ………

MATERNITY REVAMP :::: CROP STYLE MAXI & BRIGHT BLAZER

Pregnancy comes with a lot of excitements; the joy of knowing that you will be bringing a child into the world, the excitement of sharing the news with your friends and family and the joy of feeling the baby grow and move in your tummy amongst other joyful moments.

With all that joy comes with the “little trouble” of what to wear as the bump begins to get bigger.
