Slapping on a hat, throwing on some sun shades and wearing sunscreen(sun protection factor) may be 3 of the obvious things that comes to mind when we talk about spending time in the sun or on the beach. Well, It is way more than that.
I do miss home because of the very many times I could wear the colourful Ankara print and the ever so sunny weather. Once the weather warms up around here, I look for every reason to wear the print and today’s look is no exception.
In case you are wondering where is home, I was born and raised in Lagos-Nigeria where the sun is like the second skin. I now live in Ireland with my husband and kids.
For a girl like me that was born where the sun is like the second skin, Summer time is my favourite season in the year; if not for anything, it reminds me of home. There is a problem however; I do have a combination to oily skin which means my T-zone gets oily very easily; it gets even oilier in the summer time. That sucks right?
One of the reasons why I blog is to be able to connect with people from all around the world. Thankfully I have been able to connect with blog users / readers from more than enough countries. As far as Australia is to Ireland, we have people who visit the blog from there daily. A massive thank you to all the Moj in Touch readers from far and near. Much Love to you.
Fragrances, cologne, or perfumes, we all have different names we call our favourite scents. Just like we have different names we call them, we all have different scents or preference when it comes to perfumes or scents.
For a perfume lover like myself, I do have specific scents I always gravitate towards. The scent I go for always are sweet, feminine, floral and powdery. Today, I bring you my top 3 favourite fragrances for summer….
I mentioned in my last post where I shared different ways to style the off the shoulder trend that I get different questions and from different parts of the world too. Thank you so much for sending me your questions. It is always my pleasure to share and to help. I got another one from two amazing ladies from Italy and I will share answers to their question in this post.

We all know if we type in any queries into Google, we would find answers, correct right?
But there is this saying where I am from that says “you may have enough treasures/riches like the old but you can never have more rags/experience like them”. What this simply means is no matter how smart you are as a child, you can never be wiser/experienced like an adult.
The calmness I felt after my quiet time early this the morning was what drew me to this “statement shirt”. The purity of the shirt feels exactly like what I felt inside.
Inside of me, I felt a sense of calm! It was the Calmness in my heart that led me beside the still water(s) at this location for photos. The location was quiet, peaceful and calm just like I felt inside.
For today’s look, I decided to make all things bright, bold and beautiful in this colourful bow neck tube dress. After all, spring is all about colours. This look is simply a case of if life throws you a lemon, just make lemonade. The weather as you can see in the photos was dark but the dress was colourful enough to make everything bright and beautiful.
Gentlemen, don’t believe everything you read. The maxim about having to spend at least two to three month’s salary on an engagement ring is absolutely absurd. You can get a stunning piece of jewellery on a much smaller budget. Besides, you probably realise it’s not the smartest thing to marry someone who believes you need…
If I was given just an option of one season to do colour blocking, I would have to go with Spring. Spring to me is the beginning of all things beautiful. Flowers begin to blossom, the days get longer and more amazing things happen in Spring like wearing brighter and bolder colours.
