How To Transition to Fall Without Buying Anything New ::: Bow Detail Shirt & Midi Skirt

I looked out a few days ago and it was raining and in my head I started thinking once the word “FALL” comes up in weather, it starts to rain. I may be wrong but I have also noticed that once the children go back to school, it rains everyday. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels that way because I sent a message to a friend of mine who also said she was thinking the same thing when she got my message. Two rights can’t be wrong right? 🙂

Well in Ireland, sometimes we experience all 4 seasons in a day; Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Do you think once it’s fall / Autumn, it rains everyday too? What is the weather like where you are? I am just curious to know so please share with me.

I count it all joy when I open my mail and I find requests from people and from different parts of the world. It is a reminder to me of why we were called. We were called to serve. Today on Motivation for Monday, I will share more with you why it is important to serve but first let me answer this request from a dear reader.

PLAYING IT SAFE ::: CUT OUT CAMI & PANT-SUIT

In my humble opinion, if you like / love something, no matter what the thing is, don’t change it! Today, it is all about white around here again!  Hello, if you are new to the blog, this lady loves white 🙂

PRETTY LITTLE THINGS ::: HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT PEPLUM BLOUSE

Any time I see fabrics that remind me of home, I jump for joy for the future of fashion. Although this jacquard peplum blouse is little, it does it for me. And what do I mean by jump for joy? It is because more and more Designers and Fashion labels are embracing African Fabrics and prints.

My blouse today is made from what we call Jacquard in Africa. The fabric is lush in detail and pretty in print. I am from Nigeria by the way, Nigeria is in West Africa 🙂

BLUSHING IN MAXI

In our home, anniversaries, birthdays and all memorable occasions are very precious to us so we like to celebrate in our own way. On every 26th of June since we became man and wife, my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year was no exception because as usual; we celebrated in our own way which is usually a meal out if we can, exchange gifts and retire back home. Sometimes we think we are too homely for our own liking but we love it.

DRESS DOWN DAY :::: SHIRT DRESS & LACE UP FLATS

I was invited to host a “style lab” in a group recently and one of the questions I got asked was what is the difference between dressed up and dressed down? I loved the question and I answered it to the best of my ability. Today, I will share the answer I gave with you……….

Right here on the blog, minimalism, practicality, chic and sleek are a few of the words I use a lot and today’s look embodies all 4; the look is dressed down yet polished with a hint of street style.
