The response I got on Facebook about the blog “What Do You Want” from last week was incredibly amazing and fulfilling to me. So, I must thank you so much for reading. Today, I will be encouraging you on another important topic that would challenge your “growth faculty” and this one is called “Take that…
I recently went to Nigeria and while heading off, I did some shopping for wearable, breathable, comfortable and stylish pieces. When you think of holidays in a tropical place, pieces you can wear, these are the pieces I would be sharing in this post. Nigeria is very hot, at all times and the pieces I picked up were pieces suitable for that part of the world. So, if you are heading away on your Summer holidays or planning to go away real soon to somewhere hot, this style video would help you get your holiday groove on. Let’s check out my tropical lookbook featuring affordable pieces I got from some of my favourite high street stores.
I know many of you have read my bestselling book, “Use What You Have – How to take your gifts from potential to fulfilled purpose“. After the successful launch of the book, I knew there was more to the book than just be a book. So, with the help and direction of God, I turned the book into a digital course and then a Live Masterclass which I travelled to Lagos Nigeria to teach. As part of our publicity for the Lagos live Masterclass, I was on TVC to share more on the book and also the live event. Below is the footage of the live TV I had with Yomi Owope – one of the hosts of Wake Up Nigeria. I had fun doing that interview…..please watch below…..
Happy Easter guys and welcome to a brand new week. I haven’t opened a blog like that in a while 🙂 Hope your weekend went well, mine went really well and I’m grateful for everything. Allow me share some of the FAB things I did with you…..
First, I spent time with 12 boys and girls doing leaving cert this year to empower, encourage and motivate them to do their best to be who they want to be and much more covering overcoming setbacks, sticking with your own plan and staying in your own lane and much more. I am really grateful to everyone who came to support this little vision of mine – Julianah Ilori provided all the brunches and prayed for and with the Children, Precious Alli gave a talk on College life and Samuel helped us to revise leaving cert (higher and ordinary level) with the Children. It was really good and the feedback from the Children have been nothing but positive. I am truly pleased and grateful that everything went well. On Sunday, I was at a 50th birthday party with my family and I was the Compere (MC) at the party. It was a very busy but a great weekend for me. Enough about me, I was YOURS? Please share what you did with me in the comments section below….
It was just like yesterday that we said happy new year and now, we are in the 2nd quarter of the year. Let me break it down:
January to March = Ist quarter of the year.
April to June is = 2nd quarter of the year.
July – September = 3rd quarter of the year.
October – December = 4th quarter of the year.
So, today, the first of April is the first day of the 2nd quarter of the year. As the year is going, our lives is going or moving forward – we are growing in age and possibly for some, in resources, wealth, knowledge and for some in the spirit. No matter where our lives is headed right now, life is moving or going on. I would say this, it is okay to be moving but in what direction is your life moving? – Where you want it to be? Confused? Unfulfilled? Or killing it (achieving those goals)?
A lot of times in life when we want something, many of us want it now and once we think about it, we want it at all cost. It even gets interesting that when we achieve a goal, we believe we deserve a treat so to say and we go on and treat ourselves. Well, treating ourselves is one thing, getting that treat at the right time is another……
I had the opportunity to share with the Youths I mentor about Delayed Gratification – How to Achieve it and the Advantages of delayed gratification. This footage was a very long one but I managed to reduce it to about 10 minutes…Please watch below….
We live in a world where there are more naysayers than cheerleaders. What I am saying is that a lot of times, it is very rare to see people who would say things like – “go for it” or “you can do this” to you. Instead, far too many people wear the negativity and discouragement crown. Unfortunately, negativity or negative energy doesn’t encourage anyone, it rubs us of our potentials and or the willingness to try what we feel we can do. Today on Motivation for Monday, I want to share with you some of the life lessons I learnt from Lionheart, the movie.
I have shared tips on What to Do & What Not to Do At Christmas Work Parties and How to Stay Chic All Night on a Party Night Out with you. More than looking chic and the do’s and don’t at a christmas work party, it is more important to stay safe. As the days are getting darker and so many evil going on it the world today, here are a few ways to stay safe on a party night out.
I first wrote a shorter version of this post on Facebook as I was inspired to write last Friday. By the time it was evening, the post had “gone viral” (gathered more reaction than normal). Since many people related to the post, I thought to share the extended version of the post to inspire and encourage you dear readers as always. So, today, I will be writing to encourage you on the importance of living out your name.
The past few weeks was quite busy for me but I wouldn’t change anything because it was all good. You all know I shared with you that my last wish on my old Vision Board was for my Mum to visit. Yep. this dream has now come true. Glory to God. Me, my husband and children spent quality time with Mum, we got the chance to take care of her, celebrated her birthday and enjoyed her company generally. Mum has now returned to Lagos-Nigeria and all is well with her. I must say I miss her and I am a little bit cranky that she is no more here with us. Don’t even dare call me Mummy’s girl 🙂 Sincerely, I just love seeing her in the morning before heading to work and seeing her when I return in the evening. I can’t wait for her to return again soon. Enough about me for now. So, if you are believing God for anything, don’t worry, it may seem delayed BUT TRUST me, it will eventually come to pass. Have you considered putting your wish on your Vision Board? Vision Boards are powerful and they work if you follow through and do your own part……

When we go through challenges in life, a lot of us tend not to see ourselves beyond where we are. We blame ourselves, we belittle ourselves and a lot of times, a lot of us just stay down with no plan of getting up again from our setbacks. Staying down is easy because just anyone can stay down. However, it takes boldness, courage, determination and self-motivation to rise again after a set back. We have to understand that, the only way we can rise again after a setback is that we must do whatever it takes to rise again. Today on motivation for Monday, I am writing to encourage you to see yourself beyond where you are now and what you may have gone through.
Many times, I come across so many people who ask me the very old age question, “What should I do”? Should I do this or that or go this way or that way? Others ask me if I can help them? When I get this question of “help me”, I still end up having to ask, “What do you want” because sincerely, if I do not know what you need help with, I can’t help you. That is the truth! And nobody can help you if you do not know what you want. This is the honest truth. It is okay not to be sure or clear but you MUST have an idea of what is it you want.
Today on Motivation for Monday, I will be sharing TIPS on how to know what you want so you can live a meaningful, fulfilling and purposeful life.
The mind, the body and soul are 3 interlinked parts. One does not function without the other. When all 3 are cared for, we live a more fulfilling life and are more happier. See, out of your mind is where everything starts – whether good or bad. And your body is the carrier of all things that comes from your mind and then your soul is the receiver of what your mind and body say.
Today, on motivation for Monday, I am writing to encourage you on the importance of caring for the mind, the body and the soul. Let’s check it out……….
In the past couple of weeks, I received many messages than I would normally get. When I read through all these messages and met up with some of the amazing people who wrote to me, I can conclude that a lot of people want more for their lives, want to grow, want to contribute to the society and economy at large, people want to use their gifts to help others and in turn fulfill their own purpose. Today’s blog will encourage someone who is on the cross roads of whether or not to go ahead and start working on the huge burden and desires of their hearts.
Nearly every week, I change the DP on my WhatsApp with snap shot of feedback(s) I get from different people who have come in contact with my work. A lot of times, it is some sort of testimonial or feedback saying, “how much what I do has helped them” or “how my book has helped them” or “how a course I created has helped them” or “how a post I wrote on Facebook or somewhere else has helped them” etc. I personally do this to remind myself of how far I have come on my journey and how much impact I make daily with what I do but most importantly as a reminder to be thankful to God for giving me the gifts I use to make such an impact.
Today, on Motivation for Monday, I want to encourage you on “How to Know If You Fulfilling Your Purpose”……….
I had 2 major breakthroughs last week. Amazingly, one news came on Wednesday and the other came on Thursday. It was a back to back victory I must say. Until about 5 years ago there about, I didn’t really understand how scriptural, effective and powerful vision boards are. However since I have learnt more about vision boards, I now use them all the time. Now, once I achieve everything on one vision board, I make another. Today on motivation Monday, I am writing to encourage you on the power of vision boards and how to make them work for you………
A couple of months ago, I shared a blog titled FOCUS where I encouraged you to Follow One Course Until Successful. I am not changing my mind today about the tips I shared in that post but I am here to tell you today that while it is important to follow one course until successful (FOCUS), it is also important to recognise that we must have a VERY OPEN mind for us to be able to succeed in all areas of our life. Let’s check out today’s motivation for Monday
Every Monday on this blog, I write to encourage and inspire you to be who you were called to be and I do that by sharing my own story repeatedly and truthfully highlighting why I started the things I do now, what I have achieved, where I am now and where I truly want to go. Today is not different because I will be sharing to encourage you. As I finished servicing my Facebook page last Saturday, Facebook fed me with this powerful post I felt truly connected with and I thought to share it with you. So, today’s motivation is half mine and half someone else’s. I will be sure to credit the original writer – Temi Koleowo…..
I am a Dreamer and I love to encourage as many people as possible to dream too because dream is cheap. Today is a very important and extremely busy day for me but my commitment to encourage you still stands come that what may, I will always drop you a line or two or more. This one will be more than a line or two and I hope you are ready to read so you can dream more……
Remember I wrote a blog called Trust Your Journey a while ago. In that blog, I shared the importance of embracing your own life’s journey in totality, authentically and that come what may, to never give up.
Can I be totally honest with you? See, every motivation blog I have ever written was influenced by a life’s experience. I like to write from real life experiences because we learn from experience and then people can relate to those things better because they are real. Today, I am writing the blog as always from real life experience and this one is called, “Your Journey May Seem Easy Now”
As a Writer and Fashion Aficionado who also happens to inspire, encourage and motivate other people to become who they truly want to be irrespective of their circumstance, sex and age, I also spend a lot of time researching and watching great contents that can help me be better at what I do. So, last week, I saw this video where Editor-in-chief Edward Enninful of British Vogue sat down to interview Oprah Winfrey. In that interview, I learnt a few pointers and I will be sharing some of that with you today on Motivation for Monday.
It is not so obvious but the same letters that spell the word silent actually spells the word listen. Let me list both words below and what they mean:
SILENT: not speaking. Silence can also mean the lack of audible sound, or the presence of sounds of very low intensity. The word silence can also refer analogously to any absence of communication or hearing, including in media other than speech and music
LISTEN: to make an effort to hear something; be alert and ready to hear something
Today on motivation for Monday, I want to encourage you on what I call, “silent everything and listen to you”
How will it make you feel if you take a bold step and go after the life you want? How would it make you feel if after thinking about something, you just don’t stop there but go ahead and make that thing happen for yourself? How excited would it be for you if right before your very eyes, what you have always dreamed about comes to pass? For example, pass that exam, launch that business, move to another city, ask that girl or boy out or whatever it is it you want? How would that make you feel?
Today on Motivation for Monday, I am writing to encourage you on what I call, “Audacity to Go After Your Dreams”
If you have ever wondered what the name of this blog – Moj In Touch means, here you go…..It simply means MOJ from my name and IN TOUCH from the situation I found myself.
So, IN TOUCH in my world simply means to be IN TOUCH with who you really are irrespective of your circumstance or status (single, married, mum, dad, unemployed, redundant or broke etc). Being in touch also means, even if your circumstance or status changes, your life goals, vision, aspirations and desires don’t have to change.
Today on motivation for Monday, I am writing to encourage on what I call, “The More You Do Anything”….
If is possible for someone to look at me and tell me the things I want to hear even when I know they are not telling the truth. It is possible for me to allow anyone to lie to me because I just want a feel good factor or a pick me up. It is also possible for me to know the truth and keep waving it away because I can’t be true to myself, just for not being true to myself. I like to put it this way, anyone can lie to you BUT If you lie to yourself, you are your own greatest enemy…..
Today on motivation for Monday, I want to encourage you on what I call, “Be True to You”
