If you call me the queen of looking elegant, you wouldn’t be too far from spilling out my “character in style” and that was WHY I shared the blog on HOW to look elegant so we all can “SLAY” like queens. There is just something about dresses that make every woman look so polished and well put together. However, if you want to take elegance to the next level, maxi dresses is the way to go. Whether you are going to the red carpet or you are a wedding guest, maxi dresses make you look so fine. Let’s check out some maxi dresses I made look a million dollars……
Orange Mix
There is just something about this Forever 21 dress that can’t make me get enough of it. I bought it cheap but with little “twerking” here and there, I made it come out like I bought it for more than €34.99 that it was. See full details of it HERE
The Slinky Maxi
This is another dress I bought for cheap from Misguided but wore expensive. I love reconstructing my clothes to give it that unique and modern touch but most importantly to make it suit my style and taste. I encourage you not to be afraid to have fun revamping your own pieces. See full details of this revamp HERE
One Dress, Two Ways
This is one of my favourite dresses for this Summer. I saw the Marks & Spencer dress and instantly was drawn to it because I figured out that the possibility of the dress looks endless. It was also the one I wore to date night with my husband for our wedding anniversary this year. I styled this dress in more than one way, please see full details HERE
This Tie & Dye Maxi
If you are anything like me, you would understand that some pieces are a staple in any closet. This Gestuz dress is one of the ones I pull out year in and year out in my closet and it still looks like new. This dress I have worn casually with flats and formally with heels. To see more of it, please check HERE
This Floral Maxi
I love floral for the Summer and I can’t get enough of this floral maxi from Marks & Spencer. I wore this one to work the other day and people kept asking me where it was from. In the original post, I shared how to style your maxi no matter your size. If you want to see more, please check HERE
And those are some of the ways I have made cheap maxis look a million dollars. Do you agree with me? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments below.
I want to thank you for stopping by and for reading. Be Inspired. Be Stylish

Lovely maxis, lovely post. The trick to making an inexpensive outfit look expensive is all in the added accessories. Colors matter too. Another option is to pair it with an expensive look.
My favorite is the Mark and Spencer. You slated in the one shoulder version. Elegant. Very stylish take on the desss.
‘You slayed’ not slated. Thanks auto correct, lol.
Thanks so much Sade. I understand that struggle of autocorrect.
Cheers
Maxi dresses have become my go-to in summer – they are chic and comfy and just feel like warm weather to me. These are all gorgeous looks!
Thank you Sarah. I agree maxi dresses are the best.
Cheers.
