Hi My Lovelies, hope you are doing well and your week is going great. Thank you all so much for all the well wishes on my birthday here
So there is a popular saying in my language which says “ibi ori dani si lan gbe”. This simply means that you can make anything happen wherever /whenever you find yourself. As was the case with me on the day, in a crazy windy place I found myself on the day. The Irish weather is been quiet good for a while now and suddenly boom….SNOW!
I had errands to run including picking/getting coffee with one of my girls after school run and it was cold, infact very cold. I know this might sound strange but I always plan my outfit the night before and that of the boys(my sons) except for weekends so dashing out the door in the morning wouldn’t be a problem. Life of a mum, you plan for everyone !
As always, I had planned what to throw on in the morning but when I stepped outside to put the milk gallon in the recycling bin, it was just like I was thrown into a wind of cold. I ran inside and I thought, what do I wear with this cold? Sure you can tell from the photos that it was so windy. I just decided there is nothing wrong in sharing the photos with you.
I looked in the closet and I picked up a denim, a thermal wear, a turtle neck and to keep me nice and warm, I reached for my short cape coat which was just hanging outside the closet from previous wear. I threw everything on and for some reason, I wasn’t “feeling” the look. I thought to cinch in my waist with a belt just to mimic the leather clip on design of the cape coat. When I threw on the belt, it was just as if I was elevated. I liked the result so I went for it. I think it looked stylish. What do you think?
Like I always say, fashion is so much fun, have fun with it. If you do not try out something, you wouldn’t know if it will work or not.
Don’t be afraid to try something new.
You never can tell what you will come up with. And if it doesn’t work, take it off.
So to finish off my all black look, I threw on some tell boots with comfy block heels and my large tote.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I am always happy to see you here.
So tell me, how do you wear your cape coats? Talking about the capes, do you prefer the regular cape coats or the scarf cape like I have on here? Would love to read from you, let me know below please.
Have a fantastic day and God bless you.
Much Love, Mojisola
