A mix of brown and black is not what I see very often. To me I feel a lot of people shy away from mixing both colours together because both of them are dark hues.
This dress however is proving to me that black and brown sure goes together not necessarily like peanut butter and jelly but they sure look well together.
The shade of brown on this dress is almost tan by the way. it is a family of brown and it mixes well with black.
The last time I wore this short cape coat was here. I thought to throw it on this dress to make the look weather appropriate and in my humble opinion, it worked. That is what I call MAXIMISING !
Maximising is simply a way of giving the pieces in your closet their fullest potential. In order words, you look for ways to wear them over and over and over again. In the future, I will share more ways of rocking this cape coat.
I didn’t have to do so much with the look because the pieces were just fabulous together. I finished my look with nude heels.
Black heels will also work well with his look.
Fashion TIP today !
Wearing nude heels is one of the best ways to tone down a colour block or multicoloured or floral look.
Even though the nude heels I have on are not the perfect nude for my skin tone, they work well with the look. See here to learn how to choose the perfect nude heels for you.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am aways very happy to see you here.
Wishing you a colour filled day and God bless.
Much Love, Mojisola.
I was wearing H&M dress, in stores nationwide // Christian Louboutin Cornielle 100 // Zara Cape coat, last season.
