It is a couple more months to Christmas and for most luxury shops, the Christmas shops are now opened! For me when I am out and about doing a lot of shopping be it personal shopping for my clients or Christmas shopping, comfort is always the most important thing to me.
I like to dress down so I can move easily because of the rush. Today’s look was what I wore the other day to run errands and then did some shopping for the house afterwards.
Outfit of the Day!
I wore this white jeans and shirt from the gap and a coat from Sammydress. I love this coat because of how light weight and warm it is. Since it is a dressed down look, I decided to leave the coat opened and rolled up the sleeves for some casual vibe. And to finish my all white and grey look, I wore a pair of sneakers that is also white and grey.
I have been told that I am one of the best white wearers ever. I believe that is true because for some reason (good one), I never get my white stained. If you are not a good white wearer, you can mimic this look in any colour of your choice. Wear black jeans and white shirt or wear black on black, it is all good. Just do what you are comfortable with and that is why it is called, personal style
Shopping TIPS Today!
Allow me share a few TIPS to consider when shopping whether for Christmas or any other time especially when everything is moving so fast and quick.
1, Comfort : wear something that is so easy and comfy to move in. Even if you are a heel queen like me, try flats and you will thank me later for it.
2, Mini Bags : heavy bags, large totes or top handle can be too much hassle when buying a lot. Swap large bag for mini bags or cross body. There are a lot of fabulous cross bodies you can try. They are super stylish too.
3, Make a List : with a lot of sales going on once the Christmas shop opens, it is easy to get drawn to what you didn’t plan to buy. Making a list and sticking with your plans will help you save money you didn’t plan to spend.
4, Less Money & No Cards: When going on this kinds of shopping, it is best to research the amount you will be spending and bring that exact amount. If you can, keep credit cards at home to avoid spending what you didn’t plan to spend.
5. Drive or Not: If driving, ensure to bring coins for parking at the shopping mall of your choice and if travelling on a public transport, it is best to buy a day travel pass. It will cost you less in the end.
