How are you doing today my Lovelies!
If you haven’t been back since my bad hair day blog here, happy new month to you. How was your weekend ?
Happy bank holiday to my Irish Lovelies. I hope you have the day planned for fun and relaxing.
After digesting the news of been featured on a national newspaper on Saturday; THE GUARDIAN, I thought the best way for me to celebrate is to wear a flowing maxi and stand on top of the wall.
Well, I would have sat but I guess standing made me taller…lol.
It was my cousin who broke the news, he said, guess who is on the Guardian? I turned to the middle page and there you were smiling. Thanks Cuz for always looking out for me.
I remembered one of my girls; Dana left me a comment on how she loved the 70’s inspired look I was throwing the previous week. Thanks girl for your kind comments always.
Thank you to all of you who view, read, share and comment, I love you all.
I thought the 70’s trend was fun so I featured it multiple times in a week. Like I always say, if there is anything you like/love/believe in, don’t change it for anything or for anyone. #mondaymotivation
I am thankful that the people in the Guardian loved the look as much a I enjoyed styling it. The look featured was my palazzo and the 70’s here.
For styling today, I wanted a look that is good enough for celebration, romantic and free so I paired my flowing pleat maxi with an embellished tunic which I tucked in neatly into the skirt and finished the look with a pair of “nudest” sandals.
I would love to share a pairing of the tunic with you with some skinny jeans sometime soon, the tunic is quiet a long one.
In this look here, I featured a short version of a this same colour of skirt. Peach is a pretty colour, I would highly recommend it to people who do not like pink.
Fashion TIP today !
Anytime you wear a skirt that is this big/bulky and flowing like the one I have on, it is always best to balance your shape or proportions by pairing it with a blouse that is fitted, smart or not bulky. A body / body hug will be ideal or perfect.
If you can, wear your skirt with a belt or sit the skirt on your natural waistline so your shape or proportions is balanced. This helps accentuate your waist and would make you leaner than you really are. This is one of the tips I shared on my blog on how to make your waist look slimmer
Finally wear your flowing or maxi with heels so you can look taller and walk elegantly. Always choose heels at your comfort level.
So tell me, how do you wear your maxi skirts ? Let me know in the comments section below please.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always happy to see you here. Did you like the look today? Share it with your friends, they may also like it.
Wishing you a fantastic week filled with God’s goodness, favour and mercy, amen.
Much Love, Mojisola

Loving the textures and colours I’m seeing in your ensemble and that skirt has major bounce and ounce. ps your braids take me back to the Patra and J Jackson/Poetic Justice days…good times…these days i tend to wear my maxi’s with crop tops or bustiers…x
I agree love. Patra and JJ. The queens of the 90s. Love them both. We thank God for everything on the feature. We do our best and leave the rest to God. Have an awesome weekend.
