The past couple of days have been extremely busy for me. I haven’t been able to do photos neither have I been able to do so many other things. I won’t bore you with details but I would say that it is busy in a good way. I will share some of the good news with y’all soon. How are you doing everyone?
For my look today, I decided it’s “yellow in the fall”
Outfit of the Day!
Today’s look is all about a mix of colours and I wanted to play with a mix of both primary and secondary colours. For my look, I paired a pencil skirt with a silk blouse with pleat detail on the shoulder and finished the look with a bold statement necklace and sling back high heel platforms.
Honestly, we did this photos last year. I had to go into the archive to find them. I am glad I have them to fall back on. By the way, If you are a Fashion Blogger like myself, I encourage you to always have back up images for when you can’t do photos.
Fashion TIPS today!
You would notice that I wrote TIPS on fashion tip today. That is because I have a couple to share with you. So here goes……
1, Although for Fall / Autumn, you find a lot of dark colours in the stores and a lot of people wear dark colours too. To brighten up your look in the Fall / Autumn, wear colours.
You can throw in some colour on your look like a yellow blouse or coat or a yellow bag with an all black ensemble or a yellow scarf. Which ever way you fancy, throw in some colours for colder months, it makes all things bright and beautiful.
2, If you like something(style pieces), buy them in multiples if you can afford them. My necklace for today’s look, I got so many years ago. When I got the yellow one, I decided to go for the green one too so I have them in multiples. I styled the yellow one HERE
I was having a master class recently and my client said, I love trousers from a particular store but they fit differently each time I buy another pair…… I said, the secret is simple, buy them in multiples. Keep the one you are not wearing for now, they will be handy when you need them. Easy right?
The reason WHY it is possible for anything to fit differently even though you buy them from the same store is that stores manufacture with different companies. This is what I mean, a store could work with a company in China today and the next time, they could be working with a company with Bangladesh. It could also be that tailoring of the particular style piece was changed. It could also have something to do with fabric and it could just be anything.
So if you likes something, buy them in multiples.
I want to thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always very happy to see you stop by. I hope you like this quick styling as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. Do have fun wearing some colours in the fall and feel free to leave me your comments in the comments below.
Wishing you a colourful day today.
Much Love, Mojisola.
I was wearing……..
Zara SKirt & Blouse // Zara Shoes // Top Shop Necklace
