Black and white may not be everybody’s cup of tea but lately it has become my go to colour scheme. Whether at the weekend or to work, you can wear black and white.
In my humble opinion, I believe there are more than a million ways to wear black and white. I also wore black and white in a chic way here. My question to you today is how do you wear black and white?
For my look today, I wanted a look that is simple but all the same polished and this was what I came up with.
As you can see, the shirt is very boxy, (it is a shirt dress or tunic if you like) while the bottom is thin or fitted. To balance the proportions of the look and my body, I added a belt to the look to help cinch in my waist. I finished my look with my black cut out heels and a chunky necklace. On the other hand, I could also wear the shirt without the belt. If that is what you prefer, go ahead and have fun with it. I actually tried that look with sneakers a couple of weekends back.
Fashion TIP today !
Whenever you wear a boxy shirt, I would recommend to wear a fitted pants/ trousers to create balance or what is called Juxtapositions. It can also be the other way round, that is a baggy pants/trouser will mix well with fitted shirt or blouse. Except of course you are going for a boxy look altogether i.e. baggy on baggy.
The obvious one is that black and white mix well with other solid colours. For. e.g red, blue, pink etc.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always happy to see you here. Wishing you a happy and relaxing weekend
Much Love, Mojisola
I was wearing H&M tunic // Beshka leggings // Asos Leather belt // Carvella heels // Mac Ruby Woo lipstick // D&G watch // Diasys jewelry bracelet.
