Hi Everyone, Welcome! Hope you are doing well. I am doing well and quiet excited about the New York Fashion Week, NYFW. Even though I am not there in person, I am so excited and looking forward to what various designers would be showcasing for spring/summer 2015.
In the spirit of NYFW, I choose a shift dress from the Victoria Beckham collection. I styled the look like it would be done on the runway/catalogue and I also incorporated a static picture story to reflect same. I pretended as if I was a model showcasing a new collection. The dress is colour blocked so I added a colour blocked coat to create double colour blocking. Since the coat was boxy, I ensured that the dress was fitted which helped balance my silhouette creating a slimmer and taller silhouette. In my mind, I was in Newyork, funny right?
Clutch from ALDO | Braclet from TED BAKER LONDON | Coat from ZARA
Shoes from DUNE LONDON
The back of the dress featuring VICTORIA BECKHAM’S signature zip.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Tell me about your NYFW story if you have any and also about what you would want to see in the spring/summer 2015 collection by leaving me a comment below.
Wishing you a lovely day and blessings from God.
