I finally picked up a couple of the Primark’s nude tights or panty hose like some of you call them. So, without further ado, here’s is the full review of the nude tight’s or panty hose collection from Primark….
In this 2.5 minutes video, I shared the PROS & CONS of the tights / panty hose and I also compared it with the Marks & Spencer ones I wore in this outfit a while ago. Do check it out.
What is Nude?
Nude simply means a colour that matches your own natural skin tone, hence nude. Nude on you ideally should look like you are not wearing a thing. The shade of nude that matches your own skin tone should blend into your skin – that is nude.
Until recently, many women, especially women of colour struggle to find the perfect shades of nude for their skin tone. Lately, many brands are making available a wider shade of nude which is good for all women. Marks & Spencer has up to 5 range of nudes and Primark does too. Also, there is a brand in the UK called Nubian Skin founded by Ade Hassan. After doing much research, Nubian Skin was one of the first brands who made nude available to women of colour. This achievement earned Ade Hassan, the founder of Nubian Skin an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for her contribution to arts. That is incredible!
Back to tights / panty hose, a brand like Nubian skin encouraged many high street brands to make available a wide range of panty hose.

In the look above, I was wearing the Marks & Spencer’s “Cocoa”. That is the perfect match for my own skin tone in their range. In the Primark’s one, I wear Mocha as their Cocoa was too cocoa (dark) on my skin. Like I said in the video, I didn’t try the Primark’s ones before making the video. As at the time I wrote this blog, I have tried a pair on and they were good.
So, if you are looking for affordable nude panty hose / tights, you can check Primark or the other brands mentioned in this post. The Primark ones are the cheapest but you can only buy them in the stores. The M&S ones are very durable and I love them. You can buy in stores and online. As for the Nubian ones, I will be looking into buying from them soon as they are an independently owned business. When I do, I will let you know.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. I really do hope you found the video helpful and I hope you learnt a thing or two in the texts as well. Please, let me know your thoughts in the comments and do share this post with your friends and family. Cheers.
