Hi My Beautiful Friends,
Today, I bring you another work style from AM to PM
Skater dresses flatter all body types unlike shift dresses which doesn’t sit well on every body especially on the plus size ladies. If you are wondering what a shift dress looks like or just want to see the look book, check here
This look is an AM to PM look book or a day to night look book if you like. I also played with complementary colours; yellow and purple. Both colour combination are two of my favourites.
I dedicate this look to all the working class ladies who work hard and are not afraid to play harder. If you are a working mum like myself (working from or away from home), I bow down to you because we all know it isn’t particularly easy to joggle work and family. Well done mums, you are doing great. It is not mothers day but I do like to celebrate the mums who take the time out to read my blog. Thank you for always making the time to stop by.
Cheers to all my lovely single ladies and gents too. I love you as much as I love the mums.
DAY TIME | AM LOOK
I paired the skater dress with a lace shirt whose button I did all the way to the top and cinched in the waist with a tiny belt. To finish the look, I wore a printed patent leather heels and a large top handle to hold all my necessities. I kept all accessories to minimal as always and wore my hair in a high pony tail.
FASHION TIP TODAY !
First one, skater dress fits all body type.
Second one, if you are petite or of a tiny frame, a skinny belt like the one I have on in this look book is made for you. A wide belt will cut your frame into half and you will look even shorter.
NIGHT TIME | PM LOOK
For the night time look, I did away with the shirt as it looked too formal for night time. I wore the same belt but knot it into a bow. I finished the look with the same print patent leather heels. The only thing missing was a clutch for night time. You can add that to your own look and more accessories if you need more. That big bag will do too if you do not have a clutch.
I made my belt into a bow for a dressier look for night time unlike the one I did for the work or day time look. See here for some ways I love to wear my belts including the one I have on.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like my day to night look book. Please let me know in the comments below.
Wishing you a lovely day/week/month and God bless you now and always.
Much Love, Mojisola
