A very warm welcome to you! Hope you are doing well. I love weekends; time to relax after a long week. What are you up to this weekend?
My style inspiration for today is from the street. I will be styling a cropped skinny and a semi fitted jumper/cardigan.
For weekends I like to throw on a perfect pair of jeans and a casual top/blouse/tee. It is easy for running errands and comfortable enough for when you have friends/family over.
Here’s the street style I came up with…….
A cropped skinny with a jumper/cardigan.
I love the wash of the jeans and chose a jumper in cream colour to compliment the almost faded denim.
They skinny jeans is not recommended for all body types, so be careful when choosing one.
Depending on the cut. You can wear skinny jeans if……
You are a ruler body type ; use layering to build curves.
You are a tall hourglass ; wear it with heels so you don’t look shorter.
Other Body Types
A pear shaped body can also wear skinny jeans if it is a dark wash (it will conceal your wide hips) and does not carry any embellishments on the hip area so the hip doesn’t look wider. Also wear them with heels.
An Apple shaped body should never wear skinny jeans. Your top half would look so conspicuous and your proportions will be ruined.
SHOES & BAGS
A neon pair of heels.
For this look, even though it is a casual one, the heels made it dressier than it actually is.The neon shoes add it’s saucy character/accents to this conservative look.
A pair of heels help transform a casual look into a dressy one ; that is the power of shoes. A nude pair of heels would also work well with this look. You can read my article on the POWER OF NUDE SHOES
A satchel bag/purse helps complete the look.
ACCESSORIES & MAKE UP
A red lipstick makes the look more glamourous. Wearing colour on the lip especially red is another way to look dressier.
An aviator sunglasses completes the look.

All styling is just a guideline, ensure to wear whatever you are happy with. Good luck.
