One of the beauty of Summer clothes is that you can transition with them to the next season which is Autumn/Winter. I know you maybe thinking: but you need something warmer for Autumn and Winter? I know we do and this is why I made today’s look book.
Today, I will show you different ways I have worn this one Summer dress + a brand new way today.
Outfit of the Day!
This shirt dress is one of my favourite ones. I got it in the Spring-Summer of 2015 and each time I bring it out, I see it as new again. Not only does it wash well, it is very versatile.i.e it can be worn in many different ways.
The weather here is been hot and cold. One day, it is cold, another day, it is hot. For my look today, I paired by shirt dress with my current favourite tall boots and to keep me warm enough for this not so warm nor cold weather, I wore my leather jacket loosely on my shoulders and finished my look with a mini purse.

Fashion TIP Today!
As you can see from all the photos above, your Summer shirt dresses doesn’t have to be kept away till the next Summer. This would be “wasting clothes”. To wear your Summer clothes in the Winter, you can
Layering up simply can be described as piling on thin layers of clothes under your actual cloth. For e.g, wear a camisole or a vest, then a t-shirt, then a turtle neck or thermal wear, then your actual dress and finally a coat (outerwear). Layering up actually keeps you warmer than throwing on one thick jumper or just a t-shirt and a coat.

Wear Winter Pieces:
Adding appropriate Winter pieces like scarves, gloves, hats and coats to your Summer wardrobe will easily help you take them through the Winter weather.
So, don’t waste those summer pieces, you can still wear them now. Instead of buying more, you can continue to wear more.
This Friday, I have a post on How to Always Have What to Wear for You. Do stick around to “get it”.
Mini bags are big this season. If you have any in your closet, bring it out and enjoy one of the trends for the season. The one I have on in the picture below is from United Colours of Benetton.
I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. I do hope you found it inspiring. Continue spending less and wearing more. It is easy, just mimic what I did above 🙂
