I was invited to a baby dedication this past Sunday and couldn’t think of anything to wear than a red dress since it is the holiday season .There’s something so festive about red. You can associate red with a lot of emotions like passion, sexuality, anger, love and joy. In the Asian culture, red is the colour of happiness. Since I was happy to go and celebrate with the new baby and his family, red was the way to go.
For my look , I am wearing a fitted red dress with red heels. I threw on a necklace into the collar of the dress and finished off the look with a plaid coat. I just wanted to play with red and blue. I love both colours together. They are both primary colours and work well together. I also wore red and blue with nude heels here. Do you wear red and blue together and what does red mean to you? I’ll go first, red to me means boldness. I am bold and fearless.
I know Tyra Banks will be so happy with me for smizing perfectly. For those of you who don’t know the meaning of smizing, SMIZING is smiling with the eyes….lol. Love the collar detail on the dress. And the necklace was the one I wore for my traditional marriage 11 years ago. How time flies. Thankful to God for keeping our home.
Talking about been thankful. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours. Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect on everything and just give thanks. If not for anything, for the gift of life. People die daily, some of them we know and some of them we do not know. Let’s just smile, be merry and be glad this season even as we await XMAS. I am looking forward to Santa coming to town.
Honestly, I am very happy and thankful for everything. Even though I do not have everything I want, God has provided me with all I need. Thankful for my family, a place to call home, friends who are faithful and true and for you my dear readers whose comment inspire me to do what I love to do daily. You don’t know how much happiness your kind words bring to me. I am forever thankful for my mother whose strength I draw from and I pray for her daily. Here in Ireland, there’s no official thanksgiving day/date, but I am thankful daily, I am thankful for everything.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I am always happy to see you. Wishing you a lovely thanksgiving and God bless you. If you are looking for styling ideas for this party season, I have a selection of gorgeous dresses for the party season here.
You are beautiful.
