In every woman’s world, bags and purses are a must. Not only do they complete a woman’s look, they are almost like one of those things a woman can’t live without.
You will notice that younger girls are also into bag. They just can’t wait for you to drop your bags and off they go with it.
Whether high street or high end fashion, every woman wears/carry bag. Bags are a icing on the cake for any look.
In this modern age, men wear bags too, they are called the “man bag”. Does your man wear or carry bags ?
In this post, I will share with you the different types of bags that are available. Get ready to be wowed !
Wallets are the kind of purse you use to hold your cards (credit cards or debit cards) and money. They are easy to drop inside your handbag. You can carry them when dashing out for quick errands.
Coin purses are used to hold coins. They prevent your coins from pouring inside your bag. You can carry them along side your wallets.
The key holders are used to hold your keys. They safe you the stress of looking for your keys in your bag especially when you are wearing a very large bag with no pockets inside.
Passport holders as the name implies are used to hold your passport. They are also ideal for holding your flight tickets.
Make up purse / Cosmetics Purse
The Box Clutch
They are made from all kind of material from leather to metal. You can only hold them in your hand.
Wristlet are a kind of clutch that come with an attached chain or strap that enable you wear them on your wrist. They come in different shapes and sizes but never too big.
This is an evening clutch without a handle. You have to clutch it, hence the name.
This is a type of clutch that comes with or without a handle that can be tucked or folded.
Over sized or Envelop Clutch
The oversized or envelop clutches are usually oversized and flat with a triangle shaped top flat that folds over like an envelop. They do not hold so much. The queen of the oversized clutches is Victoria Beckham.
A duffel bag is usually used for sport or travel.
The Bucket bag
They are commonly called back pack and are popular among school goers. They are supported by the shoulders with double handles. They lie across the back and can be supported by either or both handles.
They are a large bag with crescent shape that hangs down from the shoulder which has a main compartment closure. They are different from the tote with open top closure.
They have a long strap and are usually worn across the body. Commonly used by bicycle messenger but are fast becoming a urban fashion statement.
They are of a large size used for short trips mostly weekend trips to carry personal articles and clothing.
Bags of this shape were originally created to hold bowling bags. They are now coveted by fashionistas.
The doctor bag was traditionally designed to carry medical necessity when making house calls. The classic ones are flat-bottomed with rounded sides and elongated. The handles coud either be single or double for easy carrying. The mouth of the bag has a collapsible metal frame that springs open when handles are separated and tugged. The gaping mouth makes it easy to see into the bag and extract items.
muffs are winter bags made of real or faux fur, wool or velvet that has zippered compartments and a slip opening for your hands
