Happy Wednesday Lovelies, hope your week is going great so far.
Today’s look is all about the mix of textures; LACE & JACQUARD
It is so much fun mixing this two together because they remind me of home very much. Before both fabrics became trending fashion fabrics in the international fashion scene/runway, they have been trending for a long time in Africa. At least Nigeria where I am from.
The fabrics are the official fabrics for traditional weddings, naming ceremonies (child’s christening) and most traditional occasions. I just thought to share a little of my culture with you.
Back to the look, I paired my jacquard skirt with a lace detailed cotton shirt. To add accents, I wore a jewel belt which also cinched in my waist.
Since the belt and the skirt are both busy, I finished my look with nude heels. The shoes are not quiet nude for my skin tone though.
Fashion TIP today !
Nude simply means any colour that matches your NATURAL SKIN TONE . It could be shoes, undergarments or clothing. If it matches your natural skin tone, it is nude for you. See here to learn how to choose the perfect nude shoes for you.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am always happy to see you here. Wishing you a fantastic day and God bless you richly.
Much Love, Mojisola.
