While I am a huge lover of classic pieces for work, I am also very keen on always ensuring that my work wear / work style has a touch of modern to it. Most importantly, sleek, polished and sophisticated. In this post, I bring you 7 chic-formal work wear for the classic woman.
Before I share that with you, I also want to inform you that with every look I share, I share styling TIPS for your own style inspiration. So in this post, I will include links to every of the look so you can learn more about each of them. Please use link provided.
Look Number 1 ::: The Little Black Dress
Not only can you wear this to work, you can also wear it to many occasions. Choose one that is fitted but not tight and one you can dress up or down. See more HERE
Look Number 2 ::: Pants & Blouse
We all know blouses can be plain and bland sometimes especially when it is a formal one. To add a little bit of sass to your look, choose a blouse with fab details. For example, this peplum long hem blouse I have on is perfect for the work environment. See more of the look HERE
I shared TIPS on how to make your blouse look fly HERE
Look Number 3 ::: Colourful Fitted Dress
Just like the LBD, this dress is also a good one for the work place. I particularly love this one because of the colour. It is so find would make you stand out at the work place. If you want to feel confident and bold, wear colour. See more of this look HERE
I was happy to see this look featured by Bronze Magazine
Look number 4 ::: On Trend Work Wear
One trend that started on the runway was hanging your coat loosely instead of throwing it on. Although it looks like it is uncomfortable BUT it isn’t. It is super comfortable. All you have to do is choose the right blazer or coat and voila, you can hang your coat loosely on your shoulder.
This look is a perfect alternative to wearing just black and white to work. See more of it HERE
Look Number 5 ::: Floral Midi
Midi dresses are also perfect to work. One of my HR Managers in my Buying Office basically wears floral dresses almost everyday. She looks good in them. I wore this one to work the other day. See more of this look HERE
