The idea of sale came into existence so people can buy what they need or want for lesser than the thing is worth. Most importantly for the stores to make room for their new stocks for the new season.
Even though the stores have this massive sales season in and season out, they never loose. They make up to 100% even during the sale. YES, you heard me right. This is a knowledge I acquired from Image Consulting School and from a Fashion buyer for a reputable brand.
Personally, I do have a strict rule when it comes to shopping which is always planning before buying. For one, clothes, shoes and bags do not appreciate. That does not mean we shouldn’t have clothes on our backs. It simply means buying what you need and would wear not buying because they are on sale and you just have to have them.
For Fashion Bloggers especially, it is a common thing to want to outdo one another. While that may be a trend, it is always good to stay focused on the reason why you started blogging whether for leisure or for bucks. Whatever your reason for blogging is, it is always best to stick with that. If you are one who is interested in making money from blogging but don’t know how, check out this book on “how to ‘cash in’ as a blogger”
How sweet is it to have money saved up for when you need it? It will be a shame to need money for important things and not be able to take care of them because you have all your money stashed in your closet a.k.a buying things you want and not need.
It is the end of the season and there are a lot of clearance sale going on. As always, after clearing out my closet of the things I don’t need, I set aside a few bucks to buy some things I needed. I selected things that will be perfect for transitioning from this season(Winter) to Spring and summer. I considered colours, textures and every thing to my advantage. This simply means, I shopped for the next season; Spring/Summer. This is the strategy I use which saves me so much money. I then enjoy all my purchases like a boss by maximising old with new. If need be, I repeat the same for the next season. I buy a season ahead and I am not ashamed to tell 🙂
If you are in the mood for shopping and don’t have a clue on how not to waste money while shopping the sale, please read my article on HOW TO BAG THE BEST OF SALE & AN EASY GUIDE TO SHOPPING HAPPY. You will be confident at shopping when you finish.
Do you have just few items of clothing in your closet and you feel like you can’t just figure out how to look well put together without having to buy, my article on the ART OF MAXIMISING YOUR CLOSET will put a smile on your face. So read.
Like I said, I picked up a few things I needed and I did a review on all of them on video. Please watch video below………….
So are you in the mood for shopping the clearance sale, check online and in stores for bargains.
For High street, check Zara.com, HM.com, New Look.com, River Island.com and more. Check your favourite stores. For high end, check the Outnet.com and your favourite high end stores.
Let me leave you with this: Sale buy is a win-win situation for the buyer because you buy for less but a bigger WIN for the stores because they never loose. So shop wisely. Save Smartly; you can never save too much, the money will be handy some day. The question to consider when shopping be it sale or in full price is to ask yourself if you NEED it, WANT it or you just MUST HAVE it.

This is excellent counsel, Mojisola. It’s important to dress well AND be a good steward of income. There’s no wisdom in living and dressing beyond one’s means.
Happy Thursday

I do love getting a bargain for something, but as I’ve gotten older, I try to buy only things I love or need. Sometimes, that means buying something that might go on sale later, but because I love it so much I would feel bad not getting it if it sells out before that point.
Of course, I’m not a fashion blogger, so I don’t feel any need to have something new all the time to post about – that makes it far easier!
