It’s back to school season again and it is my utmost pleasure to bring you the very best in bags especially the backpacks as they are the best choice for carrying all your school books and essentials for school.
A lot of people still classify knapsacks as one of the least fashionable accessories around, they may be feeling that way because they obviously haven’t seen what designers have done recently to elevate the backpack. Designers understand the necessity of the knapsack, and so many of them decided to give it a chic makeover to make you actually want to wear one.
Forget totes or top handles. See below for some backpack trends to rock this school year that are both practical and trendy:
The Western Inspired Bag
Cowgirl Magazine say that everyone seems to be swooning over fringe, and although the design might make the bag look a little more fun and cool rather than useful, don’t be fooled by its looks! If you pick a knapsack large enough, you’ll probably be able to fit several notebooks, an iPad or a mid-sized laptop, as well as some other necessities in it. Make sure you choose a backpack with a couple pockets for extra utility like this gorgeous burgundy one I have below.
I am loving it ! Bet you do too.
The Quilted Leather Design
A sweet and delicate upgrade from the regular leather composition, Lyst explain that this quilted leather backpack from Rebecca Minkoff with adjustable shoulder straps and exterior pockets make the bag both street and work savvy, so this is definitely something that you can bring to class and use over the weekend while you’re out shopping or having brunch.
The Throwback to Tie Dye
Embrace your inner hippie and opt for a two-toned (or more if you like vibrant colors) tie-dyed backpack. A few designers have added their own detailing to give the ‘60s look a more contemporary vibe, but if you love DIY projects, you might want to take a crack at creating your own tie-dye bag by following this video tutorial by ML Griffin.
