Year in year out, we see some trends from the runway that we consider not wearable. I am one of those ones who consider some trends not wearable. Why? For me, before I put my money on any fashion item, I want to be sure that I can wear the piece in multiple different ways. This helps me save money as I don’t need to buy clothes all the time and saves me time too as I would always have what to wear. However, this Spring/Summer, runway fashion came with a bang a.k.a – pieces that everyday girl like myself can wear. So, today, I bring you 5 wearable trends for this Summer. Let’s check it out….
Trend One: Hippy Modernism
The trend is saturated in warm desert and sunset hues. Remember the Chloe inspired dress I shared last Summer, that kind of colour tone and in that style is the perfect Bohemian chic piece to try out this Summer. The trend features a lot of amulet jewelry, crochet pieces and some raffia accessories.

Coloured Tailored Suit
I would consider a well fitted suit a wardrobe classic or essential. This season’s take on the suit is all about the colour and cut.
The colours are subtle but with statement. They are bold, bright shades as well as pastels. White the focus is all about the colours, the style is important too. There is the double breasted, knot fastened, relaxed and some come fitted. Love these coloured suit I got last Summer…..

Trend Three: All Things Utility
Who says the utility trend has to be boring? Think twice if you were thinking that before. In this trend, you would see the return of cargo pants and tan to the fashion scene. All things cargo made a huge come back and they are so easy to style and wear. You could also see features like patch pockets or front-loaded tool belts on some of those pieces.
From your favourite high street stores (Zara, H&M, New look etc) to the most lush labels (Chanel, Fendi etc), they all have some utility trend going on. As I am more classic in style, see the Cargo Skirt from Rejina Pyo below and the Zara cargo pants below to see how to style this trend…..

Trend Four: “Coutureque” Touch
This trend is kind of my favourite of them all. On this trend, you see the tulle, balloon sleeves, taffeta, volume dresses and cocktail sheaths. See some of the trends as I love to spot them:

Let’s Check Out Some Shoes: Those “Ugly Sneakers”
I made a video and said, I would not be wearing those sneakers anytime soon. If you love sneakers, they go with everything these days as fashion treend setters have shown us. So, if you are all about those ugly looking and chunky sneakers, it is a trend to try but I wouldn’t consider it a must have 🙂
If like me, those ugly and chunky looking sneakers are not for you, you can try classic sneakers, they are fab too and would not be going out of style soon…..

Love the trends with Trend Four also being my favorite. As much as I love sneakers, those ugly sneakers are not meant for my closet. I will not be buying them at all.
Love that orange dress on you.
The colour is so beautiful and I love the styling.
Thanks for sharing the trends to try.
Really awesome
