5 THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU ON A NIGHT OUT

The party season is here no doubt and what this means is that most of us go out a lot; it could be for a meal or for a dance. While it is okay to pay attention to what to wear to parties and “slay”, it is also very important to pay attention to what to bring along in your purse to these parties.

Number 1 ::: Beauty Blotter

Although we don’t sweat a lot in the winter but the face can still get oily. To prevent shiny or oily face, bring beauty blotter in your purse to help you keep your face matte. Matte face is important to take the best party selfie 🙂

Number 2 ::: Mini Mouth Wash or Mints & Mini Perfume 

Well, I recommended beauty blotter first because before you open your mouth to speak, people see your face first and of course for selfie sake.

Mints or mini mouth wash are a must for a night out….when you have a meal with onion or anything with strong smell, you want to freshen up immediately so as not to be in anybody’s face.

Take 2 seconds to go to the bathroom to freshen up with the mouth wash, it makes a lot of difference. While you are there in the bathroom, a little spray of perfume is a good idea; those sample sizes you get in the stores are just perfect for a night out.

Number 3 ::: Foldable flats

A lot of us tend to gravitate towards killer heels when we go out on a night out….that is just fine! The worst thing anyone can do for themselves is to wear killer heels and not be able to walk on them, this is a no-no for a lady. Bring some flats with you and throw them on when the night winds down, this is perfect for your feet and sanity. 🙂

Number 4 ::: A little Make Up

Your “facebeat” don’t have to wind down as the night winds down. Bring your press powder, lip gloss or lipsticks so you can easily touch up your make up when you need to. Make up is everyone’s bae after all 🙂

Number 5 :::: Cash or Card

I know I am a sucker for saving but when going out on a night out, it is important to bring some money even if it is not your responsibility to pay for the outing. Anything can happen; your girlfriend or boyfriend who is meant to pay for the meal could lose their purse; you may have to leave early so you have to get a taxi; it could be anything. Bringing some cash with you on a night out could save you some embarrassment.

Bonus ::: Bring a spear blouse + Your Phone

This TIP is optional BUT sometimes, that crazy friend of yours could spill a drink. If you are driving , leave a spear blouse or dress in your car, just in case of accident, if not, an oversized clutch will do the trick……in this case, a light weight blouse will be just fine.

Your phone is your best accessory on a night out; it will be handy for ringing to find out where your friends are sited, for ringing a taxi or for ringing a friend to pick you up if you have to go home early and of course, for taking a selfie or snap-chat.

By the way, do you guys have snap chat? I don’t….I suck right 🙂
