AZTEC PRINT & OVERSIZED TIE BLOUSE | SWEET AS CANDY

Hi Everyone,

Welcome! Hope you are doing well. The weather is nice and bright. I was born and raised where the sun is like a second skin so summertime is my favorite season. What is your own favorite season?

Today on my styling I’ll be featuring a AN AZTEC PRINT SKIRT and a TIE DETAILED BLOUSE. I love this two pieces together and I thought to share same with you.

THE OUTFIT

An Aztec skirt with an overlapping detail and print paired with a tie detailed blouse.

Since the skirt is very well detailed, I styled it with a plain tie detailed blouse. I like to balance out proportions in my look, so for this look; since the skirt is short, the blouse covers the top half of the body. We basically will be showing off legs only. When pairing is done this way, the outfit looks tasteful, classy and not too much is given away.

A camisole can also be worn with the skirt and a blazer to cover up the arms.

SHOES & BAGS

I choose a black pointy toe cut out pumps with bow details to mimic the one on the blouse. Even though we are showing off legs, the black pointy toe pumps helps elongate the legs because of its character…(pointy toe). A gorgeous sky blue clutch/purse ties the look together. A pair of tie detailed sandals would also work well for this look.

FRAGRANCE / PERFUME & MAKEUP

I love the look of this fragrance and it also carries the same colours as the outfit. Minimal makeup would be recommended for this look.
