WHY BEAUTY BLOTTERS ARE A MUST IN YOUR MAKE UP BAG

I have shared WHY it is important to choose the perfect foundation with you, I have also shared HOW to get the perfect make up routine with you + I have shared the IMPORTANCE of using the right tools for your make up application with you.

While all those are important to get that flawless make up in your make up routine, it is also important to know that although we may try, it is almost inevitable to prevent the face from becoming oily especially for people who have combination to oily skin……Today, I bring you “Why Beauty Blotter is a MUST in your make up Bag”.

What Are Beauty Blotters?

Beauty blotters are paper-like, weightless oil absorbing tissue used to absorb oil from the face. They are nothing like tissues / toilet paper because they do not shed. They remove oil from your face WITHOUT removing your make up. They are suitable for all seasons and can be used by all skin types. They are your make up saviour if you like. How magical is something that can keep your face matter without removing your makeup? Awesome right? . I use the beauty blotter and I will highly recommend them.

Why Use the Beauty Blotter?

I shared a few reasons WHY you break out in this post HERE. One of the reasons why people break out is clogged up skin. You may not know it but when you re-apply your powder to keep your face matte, your skin is likely to be clogged up which may make you break out. However, if you take off excess oil from your face before re-applying your powder, not only do you stay fresher for longer, your skin is not clogged up with make up.

So Why Use the Beauty Blotters? 

1, They remove excess oily from your face without removing your make up. You may be think how but that is what they do.

2, They are light weight, easy to carry around make up saving grace. That sound like a lot but hey, anything that will keep a girl’s face matte is her make up saving grace 🙂

3, You can use them after foundation application to remove oil from your face and you can use them to remove actual oil when going out and about doing your day job.

4, Unlike tissue they do not shed. They also do not leave any streak on your face when you use them. Recently, I forgot my beauty blotter at home and I used damp tissue to blot my face but the mess on my face was unreal.

How to Use the Beauty Blotters

They are so easy to use. Take one, press gently on the oily parts of your face and the oil on your face is soaked up in the beauty blotter. You can use them even if you do not have any make up on. When you use a beauty blotter, you get a result like this…..

As you can see from the picture above, the excess oil from the face was soaked up in the beauty blotter without removing the make up. Beauty blotters are great.

Which One Will I Recommend?

I am not joking and neither am I faffing around here but if you put into Google right now to search for beauty blotters, the first thing that will be in your face is the Mary Kay Beauty Blotters. I am not advertising it just so you know 🙂

This post is not about the Mary Kay Beauty Blotters but I am telling you, they are so good. I use them, have used them for years and I think I may have raved about them in some of my beauty videos too. Sincerely, if I have tried something and they are good, I share them with you just like any other thing. They are my go to, tried and tested one. So I would recommend that to you. The only problem with the Mark Kay beauty blotter is that you have to order them from Independent beauty consultants……
