You can never have too many black dresses. The black dress whether mini, midi or maxi is very easy to wear and style. Every body looks good in black because black is always fab.

Black flatters all body types and is very forgiving. i.e does not exaggerate the bits we do not want exaggerated unlike white which naturally make things bigger/bolder/wider than they really are. If you don’t like an all black look, add a pop of colour. Could be on the lips or on the nails or on your accessories.

Even though I am a colour lover, today is one of those days that I am in the mood for a little  black dress. I just love how simple but chic this one is. It is also warm enough for the weather.

For styling, I threw on my open toe booties with a cocktail ring and some red nail polish as a pop of colour. I wanted a simply sexy and effortless look and this is my definition of same. My look was inspired by Valentine. I thought since Valentine’s day  is around the corner, a little sexy is just fine.
