I shared a cape revamped look book with you recently where I showed you how to mix floral with fuschia. The look featured cape and palazzo and I recommended that that look would be perfect for a fancy event, date night…..
Today, I am replaying one of my old capes but this time for work. Let’s check it out……
Outfit of the Day!
My look today is a work look. You may have noticed that the weather is turning a little more cooler. On a cool work morning, I like to wear something warm enough but not one that will make me too warm. On such days, I love a cape like this….
For my look, I wore my old cropped palazzo, a white shirt and to tie the look together, I wore a short cape. A classic blazer would work too with this palazzo but for a change, I decided the cape it was today. To finish my look, I wore a graffiti detail high heel pumps and a large top handle finishes my look.
Fashion TIP Today!
When choosing classic colours for your wardrobe, do not be afraid to go for blue instead of black. As you can see above, instead of black pumps that would be considered ideal for this look, I choose a blue and black mix pair to add some fun to my look. My bag is also navy blue and not black.
If I can say so myself, black and blue do mix well together. Don’t be afraid to mix both dark hues together. For a black and white look like this, a pop of colour like red would be perfect too…….
Let’s Have a Look at Cape & Palazzo for Work & For “Play”!
For the work look, I wore classic colours that are considered formal and for the “play” look, I went over the top with a mix of fuschia with floral…….
Work
Play!
I do hope you were inspired by both looks. I want to thank you so much for stopping by today. Have fun styling your own look and do not be afraid to try something new.
Much Love, Mojisola

You can never go wrong with a cape blazer. They are so chic and elegant. And I love all the different ways you’ve styled it too. By the way your blue heels, so sharp!
