Just like I like to wear darker shades in the summer like I did here, wearing bright colours in the Autumn /winter months is what I do very frequently. I love colours and I am not afraid to wear them all year round (the season shouldn’t really determine colours you wear, wear whatever make you happy).
A lot of people tend to default to darker colours in the colder months. I don’t blame them because a colour like black retains heat and that way the body remains warm. If you have to wear colours like me, you have to learn to layer up like I tactically did in this post, if you look well, you will see some bulkiness around my waist.
For this look I paired two complimentary colours: yellow and purple, this two colours are so bright and beautiful, they would brighten up even the darkest and the dingiest weather. I also played with texture featuring Jacquard and lace. The jacquard is tough while the lace is soft and feminine. I paired the top/blouse with a midi skirt in another bold and bright colour. The purple on both the top and the skirt ties the look together. I finished the look with a nude pair of pumps.
Do you wear colours in the Autumn/Winter months like me? Let me know, leave me a comment below. As always, thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I love seeing you here. Wishing you a lovely day and God bless you.
I have to say a massive thank you to Claire for taking this brilliant photos. She was very calm and professional, a joy to work with.
