Let’s call this look the second part of the black pants I shared as work style in this post HERE. In that post, I told you that the pants are so good, I got the green pair too. So, here is the styling of the green pair with one of my old but favourite top. If you can, I would say, get this pants. They are so flattering….
Outfit of the Day!
For my look today, I was wearing a high waisted cropped pants / trousers with button detail paired with a puff sleeve knit blouse. To accentuate my waist and to break the monochromatic vibe of the look, I added a thin yellow (almost neon) belt to the look and a pair of mustard heels that mimics the yellow belt completes my look. And voila, my outfit of the day.
I was wearing
H&M Trend Collection Blouse (old) | H&M trend Collection Trousers (now online and in store) | Fabrizio Viti Heels | Belt from another dress
Fashion TIP Today
The thing I love very much about this particular trouser is that it accentuates the waist nicely. It actually cinches the waist and made my waist look smaller. Guess what, this pants will look great on absolutely everyone because of the waistline – it will sure cinch in your waist if you are one that carries a little bit of weight on your waistline. Finally, the trousers was so good, I got it in black too. To see how I styled the black version of the pants / trousers for work, check HERE
Also, as you can see, I mentioned monochrome in my look narration above. Without the addition of the yellow accent to the look, this look would have been considered a monochromatic look. However, because I added colour as accent to the look, it is not considered monochromatic any more. Mono from the word monochrome means single. So, a monochromatic look simple means to wear a single colour from “head to toe”. To learn more about Monochromatic looks and how you can wear monochrome please check HERE
