BE PATIENT ::: HOW TO DRESS UP A CASUAL LOOK

Today, it’s all about a dressed up denim look but first of all, I need to share some good news with you. Are you ready for it?

I am happy to announce that my dear friend whom I dedicated this pregnancy look HERE to is now a brand new mum. I am actually with her in London as I write this post.  Mum and baby are fine. I am a happy and proud aunty and I am thankful for such a time as this. How are you doing yourself?

Outfit of the Day!

Today’s look is a dressed up denim! For my look I paired by mildly ripped / distressed denim with a long sleeve monostrap blouse and finished the look with a pair of sling back stiletto heels. To add polish and sophistication to the look, I wore a blazer. And that is my outfit of the day!

Fashion TIP today ::: What does it mean to be DRESSED UP & DRESSED DOWN

Dressed down :  Informal dressing; casual, laid back, “untidy” and relaxed. In this case your accessories are minimal, make up could be minimal and shoes are simple and relaxed too; shoes could be flats, slippers, sneakers etc. See an example of a dressed down look here

Dressed Up :  Smart or Formal Clothes. This is the direct opposite of being dressed down. In this case you are well put together, polished, groomed, very well presented and all attention to detail is ticked.

An example of a dressed up version of a casual look is the denim and mono-strap blouse with blazer look above.  Dressed up could also be formal like black tie, interview looks, glamourous events and more.

Motivation for Monday ::: BE PATIENT!

I shared the good news of my friends baby with you above and you may be wondering why? I shared it because my friend is been waiting by faith for a while to have this baby and this is why it is important for me to share the good news so God can be glorified. We waited patiently and in God’s time, he answered us. Isn’t he an awesome God?

I share also so that if there is any one reading this today and is weary about what they have prayed for or have hoped to achieve to be patient. A lot of times, we wait for a little while and then give up. No, don’t! To be able to receive anything, we have to learn to wait even when we have prayed.

You see when you actively wait on God for anything you will eventually get results. Getting result in your own case may be different from other people’s case. Be patient and your own result will come. Ephesians 3:1-8 talks about there being a time for everything. Be patient, the time to get your own results will come.

Patience now is a virtue everyone must have! But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience (Romans 8:25). I said earlier that for you to achieve anything you must have faith and for you to be able to receive what you have faith to receive or achieve, you must be patient. So be patient, your time will come.

I do hope you like the dressed up denim look and I also hope you are inspired by the today’s motivation for Monday. My prayer for you is that God gives you the grace to wait, amen.
