DENIM ON DENIM

Let’s just say the denim on denim trend will always be around. The trend goes away for some time and then it comes back again. It is amazing how fun the trend is and how interesting it is to see different people spot them in different ways.

Today for me, it is a denim on denim day featuring a flared pair and a denim shirt. It is a perfection to start off the weekend. Don’t you think ?

For styling, I paired my flared denim with a basic tee and threw on a denim shirt to add an edge to the look. To finish off the look, I threw on a pair of leopard print wedges and a simple necklace.

FASHION TIP TODAY !

When wearing denim on denim, you can pair yours with one denim lighter than the other like I did with my own look today and with any kind of denim bottoms you fancy from skinny, to boot cut and to flared.

You can also wear yours with both denim colours similar to each other.

The denim colour similar to each other may look too “bland”, so to “spice up” the combination a little, add some TAN accessories like shoes, belt and any thing you fancy. If “too bland” is you, there is nothing wrong with it. Do you, be happy !

Your flared pants are “cooler” when they hit the floor. Your denims are no exception.

I must say though that this is my first time of trying the flared denim and I am loving it.  The 70’s trend rock !
