Trends come and go like they say but I have learnt that new trend is what makes fashion and style more fun and dynamic. Since headbands became a thing again, I have been accessorising my looks with them. Headbands remind me of those days when I couldn’t style my hair without one. Although every year headbands are sold in shops as normal but this time, they are a big fashion trend and they are everywhere – high street (more affordable) and high end (luxury).
I did a feature of my favourite one at the moment by reviewing and modelling it in my favourite way – on video and here goes, the biggest trend to try now – the headband….
I do hope that you enjoyed the video and I hope that you would try out this fun trend. Speaking of headbands, I wore the same headband to go support my girl Florence yesterday at her MIO Prints launching where she showcased some of the finest pieces using African print like Adire (tie and dye), Ankara (very popular in West Africa), Kente (very popular in Ghana). Her pieces include Aprons, Slips and Dressings Gowns, Hair Bonnet and more…
Outfit of the Day!
So, to channel a my Dolce and Gabbana alter ego without spending Dolce and Gabbana money, I wore this look to the event. I must say that so many people complimented the look. Thanks people 🙂
For my look, I wanted a laid back dressy and chic look so, I wore this free flowing midi length purple dress. To add more colour to my very colourful look, I wore a pair of mules with oversized bow and for accessories, I wore my current favourite headband and a mini gold and lilac purse completes my look. And that is my not quite Dolce and Gabbana styling without spending Dolce and Gabbana money outfit of the day 🙂
By the way, a similar headband in the D&G range retails for £850.00. But you know how we do, we spend less and look a million bucks…if I can say so myself. 🙂
I was wearing: Zara Dress (new) | Zara Mules (old) | Sacco Purse (very old) | Zara Headband (new) | Aldo Drop Earrings
Florence (Founder and Owner of MIO Prints) and Myself. We slaying!
I want to thank you so very much for stopping by and for reading. I do hope that you enjoyed the look as much as I enjoyed sharing. By the way, this Zara headband is limited edition, if you want it, go get it now before it sells out.
Guys, if you have a dream, be it big or small, please follow through and make sure to bring that dream to fruition. I do hope that you live your truest, highest and most authentic life. God bless and favour you as you do so. Finally, never despise a small beginning, because every big thing starts small.
Lots of Love, Mojisola
