THE REASONS WHY YOU MUST CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES ALWAYS

Every time I write makeup blogs, I always say, “to get the perfect or flawless makeup, you do not have to have the most expensive makeup BUT the right tools or makeup brushes”. What I mean is this; the right tools / make up brushes help you get flawless makeup finish and not the makeup itself.

While it is important to use the “best” tools to apply your make up, it is more important to care for the tools you use for your makeup application. WHY?

 

Why Your Makeup Brushes Must be Cleaned

1, To prevent makeup build up on your brushes which could cause bacteria contamination / growth on your brushes.

2, To prevent your products from being contaminated. Using dirty brushes in your makeup will contaminate it.

3, Dirty make up brushes can make you break out / have pimples and can clog your pores.

4, You may not necessarily get that fresh looking make up application when you use dirty makeup brushes

5, It is just unhygienic.

It is best to clean your brushes at least one a week. IF you can, twice a week but whatever you do, ensure to always clean your brushes

I personally use my foundation / powder / blush brushes for example twice and then clean before the next use. I always recommend to do what works for you 🙂
