I try very much to use practical approaches when I create this motivation blogs. I try to share my own story as much as I can, not to brag but to inspire you to be YOU and do you. I also share from other people’s experience if I won’t violate their privacy in any way…..
Today’s motivation is no different because I am going to be using a real life instance and I call this one from the eyes of a child.
As I finished from Church yesterday, I dashed out quickly so I could drop our older child off to his friend’s birthday party. As I hurried out, one of the younger ladies in the church reached out asking me to drop them off at home. Although I didn’t plan to go that way before dropping off the son at the party, I decided, why not and so I drove her home.
As we drove home, we continued talking and the typical me started encouraging her and telling her of how proud I am of her. As we continued talking, she said, one of the things she had to do was to minimize the time she spends online. She said she did that because sometimes, she sees so many things that demotivates, discourages and make her feel not enough. I listened closely because I knew exactly what she was talking about….
See, we live in a social media crazy era. Everything and everyone is online. Just yesterday, I saw a clip of a lady giving birth at home. Back in the day, things like this were ocnsidered private, if you like “sacred” but now, you can decide to have your baby before the whole world. Amazing right?
Following what this young lady said, I would encourage you on a few things:
1. You Are Enough
If there is anyone out there who thinks they are not enough because they are not where they hope to be by now, I want to tell you that YOU ARE ENOUGH, just the way you are. When God made you, He made you with a purpose and everything you need to fulfil that purpose, he has designed for you. It is right there inside of you. All you need do is to find what those qualities are and use them to run the race God has designed for you. We can fulfil our purpose in life by using our god given gifts, talents and natural abilities. Do what you can, in the quietude of your heart to find what you like doing and spend every day working on it till you become who you want to be. You are enough. God has a plan for you. Do run your race with he help of God. You are Enough!
2. Fake it Till You Make It
I have been blogging now for more than 4 years. In the March of 2019, my online journey will be 5 years. In this period, I have seen so much. I have seen a lot of people who claim to be what they are not. I have seen people who fantasise instead of working. I have seen people who showcase the life they which they had. I have seen people who would rather keep watching everybody work while they dream. I have seen people whose desires is to get rich quick and I have also seen people who desires what successful people have but would never work for anything and on and on.
In the online world, there is the fake it till you make it syndrome where everyone showcases a perfect lifestyle – perfect home, perfect marriage, perfect life, perfect everything. With the help of filters, photoshop and so many editing tools, everything looks perfect online. The question is, what happens in real life for these people and how far would this fake it till you make it lifestyle take them. The thing is we can lie to others BUT eventually we won’t be able to keep up….
So, instead of being discouraged by all the perfect things you see online, be grateful for where you are. Embrace your own journey and continue to run the race God designed for you without having to fake it. You faith is enough for you to make it, you do not have to fake it.
Gratitude + Fatih attracts good things to us. So practice both. Let your faith be like that of a child who thinks everything is possible….
Why You Should Faith it Till You Make It
3. Your Time Would Come
One of the ways I inspire myself is that I listen to success stories. Not becauseI want to be like those successful people BUT because I want to learn from them and their journeys. In my spare time or while exercising or doing house chores, I plug in my head phones and listen to story of successful people. The one thing I have learnt over and over again is that all these successful people have had to pay the price and make big sacrifices. Most of them came from nothing into the “place of abundance” they are now. Most of them were rejected and doors shut in their faces and most of them achieved success because they did not quit even when things were not looking bright for them.
Listen, continue to work, provided you are doing the right thing, your time would come. Don’t ever get weary in doing good or working hard, in due season, you reward would come or you would find that good break.
If you are not sure about what to do or how to go about it, please ASK for help from those who know.
4. Focus on Your Journey & Trust It
Like I said in point number one. God has a blue print / purpose for your life. You have to embrace and trust your OWN journey to be who you have been called to be. Don’t seek short cuts, don’t dabble into quick fixes. Don’t run someone else’s race. Don’t try to be who you are not. Be You. Trust your journey. Run your own race and you will be surprised that eventually, you will become, who you truly desire to be.

I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. I do hope you were encouraged from a child’s eyes as well. Do your best to work on you everyday and the more you work on you, the more you become.
Let me leave you this quote by Jim Rohn, he says, “for you to become more, you have to be more yourself”.
See, we all can be who we want to be, we just have to work on being that person….
All the best on being your best you and Blessings Always,

Great message here. Many are overwhelmed with all what they see online. Most of what they see is not the full story.
You know this Stella.
May God help us all…
