Remember I wrote a blog called Trust Your Journey a while ago. In that blog, I shared the importance of embracing your own life’s journey in totality, authentically and that come what may, to never give up.
Can I be totally honest with you? See, every motivation blog I have ever written was influenced by a life’s experience. I like to write from real life experiences because we learn from experience and then people can relate to those things better because they are real. Today, I am writing the blog as always from real life experience and this one is called, “Your Journey May Seem Easy Now”
Thankfully, I am blessed with an amazing audience who read the contents we share. I do not judge the amount of readers we have by the amounts of comments we get but by the analytics of our site……..Every Creator must pay attention to that to be able to meet the needs of your readers……….pay attention to where they are from and what they are looking for……….this helps you to create contents they like………this is the reason WHY we keep writing the motivation blogs. Thanks to everyone who reads, please do leave us your comments so we can know you were here. You can do that by using the Facebook Commenter below or directly by writing your comments below the blog.
So, following the amount of comments I received after sharing the H&M post on my Facebook, I thought I would write on it. I have so many friends on my Facebook but never have they ever responded to any of my posts like this even though most of thousands of Readers we get here weekly come from Facebook. For this particular post, I paid close attention to everyone who liked that post, I read and replied to all the comments – almost 200 of them, by myself. I do have an amazing Assistant who do the responding sometimes…..
What I noticed is that many of the people who responded to that post have being friends with me on Facebook but have never reacted to any of my posts. NEVER!. However, something made them respond this time. WHY? This is because I reached a milestone of attracting a brand like H&M.
In the comments, I picked up things like: Your consistency is paying off now / You have being consistent and it is inspirational / You inspire me with your consistency and on and on about consistency……….I am truly grateful for all the comments. Thank you.

The truth is EVERYONE including the most successful people in the world have had to do something they love consistently before they became successful or attracted the right partners, brands or investors. I am honoured that all these people noticed how consistent I have been, this is because I have been consistent – day and night.
Let’s take Tyler Perry for example. Anyone who sees him now may look at his journey as easy. Unfortunately, Mr Perry had it rough. He kept creating plays nobody was watching and he kept on going. He would work in paid jobs and create another film with the money he made from those paid jobs, only to be disappointed again because nobody would turn up to watch. These days, we see Tyler Perry next to Oprah or beside some of the most successful people in the world and a lot of us would be like, wow, he is close friends with Oprah, he is so lucky or he is so successful and on and on. However, he, just like any other person who have made huge success have had to pay huge price “to become” who they are today.
As for me, before I started having consistent readers here on this blog and viewers on the YouTube channel, I have had to create articles nobody read and videos only me and my household (me, my husband and sons) watched and I am telling you that it is the same thing for every Creator I have met. Before I could attract the biggest fashion brand in the world – H&M, I have had to work with “smaller brands” with no name and I did it so joyfully because I love sharing to help my audience. I would say this again, if there is one thing that kept me, it was my WHY. I have always wanted to help people with my contents and I wasn’t going to give up because what I am doing now is the foundation to who I can become…..
My friends, your journey will eventually look easy to outsiders, friends and family. Some would say things like: she is so lucky or he is so lucky. The truth is NOBODY gets lucky. Many people you see as lucky today have had to pay the price for years before they made some good out their crafts. Who hasn’t? Obama? Oprah? I Go Die, the Comedian? AY, the Comedian? Who hasn’t? Every successful person has. And guess what? Opportunity finds us when we are working on our crafts…….that is not luck, it is opportunity meets preparation.
So, I would say, embrace your journey, dedicate and commit everything into the hands of God, give it all you’ve got, be CONSISTENT (work it daily) and you would eventually be who were made to be. Again, walk in your lane, trust your journey and never-ever give up, you will be glad you did. No matter what, don’t be weary or tired in working hard, in due time, your reward would come.

Do take care. Have an awesome week and God bless

I just realized that I’m not following you on Facebook, well I just fixed that now. Congrats on the H&M shoutout, that’s so amazing! And well deserved too! Thank you for reminding us consistency is the key to success in my life. It’s funny that you mention Tyler Perry, I just watched him on Sunday – he was a guest Pastor at Joel Osteen’s church and his message was about consistency and perseverance. You’re both so right! Thank you for sharing with us.
Hope you have a great week!
Thanks,
Jackie
