The two colours I mixed together in this look have recently become my go to colour mix. I love the mix of Khaki(green) and tan(brown), both colours mix very well together and they are colours you can wear in all seasons – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Outfit of the Day!
For my look today, I was wearing a cropped belted tan pants / trousers with tan jumper (turtleneck) and to finish my look, I wore a pair of nude pumps – this look is a great example of monochromatic look. To keep me nice and warm while still remaining on trend and chic, I wore my khaki coat loosely on my shoulder. The coat can be worn normal if this styling is not for you. And voila, this is my almost casual outfit of the day.
If you are not a high heel lover like myself, a pair of flats or any fine sneakers will do for this kind of look too. Whatever you do, have fun with your own look and putting your twist to it.

Fashion TIP Today ::: The Warm Skin Tone
Every time I did photoshoot with my Photographer, she always says, “brown and green suits you really well”. This is correct because brown and green suit anyone with WARM SKIN TONE. My skin tone is warm. This is because my skin is dark. Not all dark skin people have warm skin tone but majority do.
There are two types of skin tone – the warm and the cool skin tone but no matter your skin tone, below is a few ways to figure out what skin tone you have…..
So What Skin Tone Am I ?
COOL TONES
You are cool tone if……..
your vein turns blue
you look better in SILVER jewelries.
if you burn first in the sun and then turn pink.
And remember, the C written in your foundation packaging starts for COOL and suitable for cool skin tone
If the above pointers describe you, this darker shade of green “may” not sit well on your skin tone. When choosing green for you, try a brighter shade of green. Having said that, try out whatever you like and see if you are happy with it, if you are please go for it.
WARM TONES
You are warm tone if……
Like me you turn golden brown in the sun.
You look better in gold jewelries.
Your vein turns green.
And remember, the W written on your foundation packaging stands for WARM and suitable for warm skin tone
For someone like me, I turn golden brown in the sun like I mentioned above. That makes me WARM TONE.
