I love details that take any style piece to the next level. This dress is plain, almost bland if you like but the SLEEVES did not only give them the va va voom that made the dress stand out, it is a detail that would make you stand out in any gathering. Not that I want to get noticed though 🙂 Today, I am sharing this white dress look book with you and some styling tips for your own personal style.
Outfit of the Day
I have shared over and over again that I love white (dresses, suit-set and shirts especially) and if I could, I would wear white everyday…..
White makes you look young and youthful, it is fresh and attracts light to the face and most importantly, it is a colour of confidence and purity. Guess what? Just anyone would look very beautiful in white. I shared a post on how to choose the best white shirts HERE. Do check it out.
For my look today, I was wearing this beautiful ballon sleeve dress (this kinds of sleeves is big for this season) and to keep the look very minimal and let the attention be on the sleeves, I paired the look with a pair of nude heels and a pair gold earrings with simple pearl detail completes the look. And finally for swag, I wore a lovely ray ban sunglasses. Voila, the outfit of the day. The dress was cut fitted boxy by the way….that is the concept of the dress

Fashion TIP Today
Like I mentioned above, white is a colour just anyone can wear and to most occasions too – even to weddings. Back in the day, wearing whites to weddings was a no-no but in this age and time, some choose white as their wedding dress code.
So, for you to wear your white stylishly, you can wear an all white ensemble like I did here or if you want, you can pair yours with a pop of colour – any solid colour goes well with white – black, red, or Tan like I did in this post HERE.
I would say also, be careful with your whites as it is a delicate colour and can get stained easily. So, it is important to keep your whites away from make up and or pastes like ketch up or soups – those are enemies of any white pieces – I know you know this already 🙂 And finally, if you have to wear tan when wearing whites, do allow your tan to dry properly before you wear your whites……

The photography for this look is very “artsy” because we wanted the focus to be on the dress. So, there was very minimal movement but we captured all accents on the dress very well. I truly hope you like it. Thanks to Claire for capturing this look….
I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading. Have fun with your whites and be your best you always. Please, do share this post with your friends and family. Love you for doing so.
Much Love, Mojisola

I love love the drama of this dress! And I think you capture the beauty of this dress perfectly. It’s simple but so chic and edgy at the same time. I love to wear white but I wish I could keep it clean! lol
