I have always known that to take care of others effectively, I have to take care of myself first, this is my own personal philosophy. But sincerely, nobody can give what they don’t have anyways. In caring for me, I focus on taking care of my body, soul and spirit. And for that reason, one of the ways I take care of myself is that I take care of my physical by exercising to stay strong, fit and energetic and NOT necessarily to stay thin……this is a bonus we get when we exercise.
As requested by you, here is my exercise and fitness routine video. Like I said in this week’s motivation, “Eat That Frog” and also in this video, no matter how thin you are, we all need some form of exercise…….
My Exercise & Fitness Routine Video
From what I eat and the simple habits I stick with, I shared it all in this video. I also shared some of the slow but steady exercise I do to prevent flappy arms. Without further ado, here’s my exercise and fitness routine video….
So when I shared this video on my Facebook as soon as it landed on my YouTube Channel, a lot of people were asking different questions like:
1, Moji, you said we all need exercise no matter how “thin” (allow me use that word loosely) we are, what do you mean?
YES, we all do. There are a lot of thin people who are not fit or energetic. Exercise takes us through a journey to keep fit, strong and full of energy. It keeps the heart pumping….so it is important to get some, not necessarily to remain thin BUT to be fit for purpose.
When I never used to exercise, I was always tired BUT since I have been exercising, I am always full of energy to do great things…..running the home, work, blog, study and everything I set out to do. I eat well, drink well (water only) and rest and sleep well.
2, What exercise would I recommend for beginners?
Like I mentioned in the video above, please watch if you haven’t done so already…..although I am not a fitness Pro, Guru or Advisor BUT I do know that everyone can start small. Walking, brisk walking (walking fast but loosely) are two of the ways to get into fitness or exercising. After a while, when we’ve build up pace, we can then begin to jog, run, skip rope and many other form of exercise like climbing, boxing and so on. I want to try boxing. Oh Lord, help me!
If you are not sure about what to do or how to start exercising, please ask a fitness instructor, trainer or advisor. They will help you further. Need styling advise, inspiration to go do GREAT things, speak at your event or want me to write a kick ass blog or posts for you, please ASK me 🙂
