Hi Lovelies, hope your week is going great.
Recently I wrote an article on how to choose the best denims and one of the points I mentioned was when you find the right one, it could last a “life time” or “forever”. Read that article here if you missed it.
This denim I have on is a perfect example of finding the right denim and wearing it “forever”. I have had this denim for a long time and each time I sport/wear it, it feels like new. If fits me like a glove and accentuate my frame magically. I particularly love it more because of its wash ; dark shade which makes it very versatile and works with any blouse/shirt.
For styling today, I paired my dark wash denim with floral shirt and finished my look with rose detail sling back platform heels. To add a fun and youthful touch to the look, I wore a hair band. I am currently loving that hair band and you will be seeing it more in my look book this summer.
Fashion TIP today !
An example of a floral piece is the shirt I have on in this post. To some, it is too much and they shy away from wearing it. If you ever think that a floral style piece is too much for you, do this…..
1, choose just one colour from the multiple floral piece and use that colour to style your look. In this case I choose pink heels to tie my look together. Pink is one of my favourites. You choose one you are happy with.
2, you can also style the floral piece with a dark wash denim or darker shade of any other bottoms(trousers/pants/skirts) and your floral shirt will be the only colours standing out. See here & here for skirt & floral mix.
3, Nude heels : not only will they tone down the floral but would also help elongate your legs. Read more about the power of nude heels here.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I am aways happy to see you here. I hope you like the look today, let me know in the comments section below.
Wishing you a lovely day and enjoy the rest of your week.
Much Love, Mojisola.
I was wearing Victoria Beckham Denim // Joules floral shirt // Gianna di Firenze heels // Dolce & Gabanna watch // Diasy’s jewelry stud earrings.
