THIS SUMMER MAXI + HOW TO STYLE MAXI DRESSES TO PERFECTION

Is it true that as we get older, we loose height? Well, whether we loose height as we get older or not, with the perfect length maxi, height is possible, even for the shortest / most petite of us all. Today, I have this perfect maxi for your style inspiration and some styling TIPS.

Outfit of the Day!

I got this dress when I went to Lagos Nigeria and featured it in my Nigerian haul. I just got around to styling it and this is WHY I am just sharing it with you now on the blog.

For this look, I was wearing this overly gorgeous maxi with over sized contrasting belt and pocket detail. The dress doesn’t need any help because it is loud, bold and simply gorgeous. It is perfect for this Season. For accessories, I wore a choker necklace to pull eyes to my neckline as the neckline is sort of low and to finish the look, I wore an oversized flower style gold earrings. Shoes not pictured and this is my OOTD!

This look is perfect for a Summer wedding, launching, Summer BBQ or Cocktails and if you like, make it your Sunday best and take it to Church..

Maxi dresses can be worn by just anyone, whether short or tall, maxi dresses are grand for you. Even though maxi dresses can make you look taller or create the illusion of being tall, to even look taller especially for all my petite ladies, wear heels or wedges and you would look especially tall and elegant.

As you can see, this maxi is very bold and bright, I could do away with accessories but I just wanted to take it to the next level by wearing gold accessories. If you want to look bold and lush, go for gold, they make you look expensive. More so, I wore that Choker because the neckline of the dress was a little too low for my personal style…..Key Word = Personal Style.
