I know the blog title sounds funny but sincerely, recently, I have been very mindful of what I buy. Like never before, I am very mindful of picking up pieces that I can wear, re-wear/restyle and take to very many occasions. As you know, my aim with the blog is not only to share what I wear but to ensure to teach you my dear readers how to shop less, wear more and save more. This year 2020, we continue of that journey of wearing more and saving more. Let’s do this people….
Outfit of the Day!
I picked up this two piece set around Autumn but didn’t get around to wearing it until very recently. The two piece set is a contrasting 2 piece set. Even though the pieces are contrasting, they still work well together. Some people were asking me if this was a dress actually. No, it is a skirt and a blouse.
For this styling, I was wearing a print skirt with slit with a contrasting print blouse with puffy sleeves and tie neck details. To tone down the busyness of the look, I paired the two piece set with a nude pair of pumps. And voila, my outfit of the day.
Speaking of the look taking you to work, brunch and church, I have worn this look to church as a set, worn the skirt to work with a different blouse and I plan to wear the blouse in multiple different ways…..

Quick Styling TIP!
When styling a busy print like this or any print on print ensemble for that matter, the best way to tone down your print is to wear a nude pair of accessories e.g a pair of nude heels. And if you are one who loves print on print on print, you can add more print to the look by wearing a printed pair of heels – you must be confident to do this. I will show you this sometime soon. Please stick around for more….
I want to thank you so very much for stopping by and for viewing. I truly hope that you found the post helpful. So, tell me, would you rather wear print on print or tone your print ensemble down with nude accessories? Do share in the comments below please. Until next time, do have fun with your own look.
Lots of Love,
MJ
