Leopard is a very solid and classic animal print that never goes out of style. They come back all season, especially for Autumn / Winter. Today’s look is an example of how to style leopard and the look was meant to be one of the holiday “work to party look” I wanted to share with you. So, here goes……………
By the way, I have never been this excited about any posts before. Let me tell you why. Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t posted “new” outfit posts for a couple of weeks. This is because we haven’t been able to do photos – the weather wasn’t great (too much wind and other times, rain), other times, my schedule with my Photographer’s schedule was just clashing etc. So, today, I am really excited to be sharing this look with you….
Outfit of the Day!
For my look today, I was wearing this midi A-line black skirt with contrasting gold buttons, paired with a gorgeous sheer leopard print blouse with oversized tie detail. To accentuate my waist and flatter my shape because of how boxy the skirt is on the lower part, I paired my look with this black belt with gold accent to mimic my skirt and to finish my look, I wore this black suede pumps with gold accent which mimics my skirt and belt. Voila, my outfit of the day!
I Was Wearing
Zara Blouse & Skirt (new collection) | Dune Pumps | H&M Belt | Michael Kors Watch
Fashion Tip Today ::: How to Style Leopard
Leopard on it’s own is a statement piece, so when styling leopard, be careful NOT TO add too many accessories to your leopard print – this could make your leopard print styling look over the top. As you can see in the narration of my look above, I used the gold accent on my skirt to style my look. If I can say so myself, this is dressy but not over the top…..
You can also pair the leopard print with style pieces like jeans for a casual vibe or with a pop of red on your lips or red accessories to take your leopard to the next level. Also, if you like, red is not the only colour that goes with leopard, you can go with a solid colour like royal blue or yellow. Whatever you do, wear your leopard your way to add your own signature look to your style. Have fun styling yours.
Leopard is a print I would recommend for everyone to try at some stage. It is fun to wear and can be dressed up or down. I want to thank you so much for stopping by today and for viewing. I do hope you like the look as much as I enjoyed sharing. Do let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Again, thanks for stopping by.
Much Love, Mojisola
