HOW TO WEAR A SIMPLE WHITE BLOUSE | 1 BLOUSE IN 4 WAYS

Welcome! I hope you are doing well. I am doing fine and happy to be sharing today’s post with you.

I just got back from a vacation and I’ve been busy trying to catch up with my schedule. I had a few videos to record/film for my YOUTUBE channel and thought to film all three on the same day to save me time. I never have troubles finding what to wear so I peeped in my closet/wardrobe and I reached for my white blouse. It is so delicate, simple, crisp and clean. I threw it on and  I went ahead to do my makeup.

Usually, I would change to film the next video but I became stucked as taking the blouse off was going to ruin it because it doesn’t have any button, my makeup would rub off on it if I took it off over my head. I know you might be thinking the scarf technique where the face is covered with scarf. The scarf wasn’t going to do the trick as I had foundation on. I am quiet fussy with keeping my whites clean. It has to be clean if I had to have it on.  Make up and white are indeed enemies.

I came up with a solution and I settled for wearing this one blouse for all three videos. Here’s what I did with the help of a few accessories and lipsticks….

Look one: I wore my white blouse and did the intro for my first video. I had on a simple  work makeup and a pair of drop earrings.Look two: I threw on a blazer and finished my first video for the day. It was my work look of the day video. 

Look three: I added a statement necklace and a simple stud diamond earrings to film my second video which lasted for about ten minutes.

Look 4: I threw on one of my favourite accessories in fashion, my brooch. I also added a red lipstick(bringing on my hollywood glamour) and lastly my pearl drop earrings which matched the look perfectly to film my third and final video of the day.

Initially, wearing that blouse was like an obstacle but I took a chance and incorporated creativity and forward thinking to do what I had to do. I took a risk and I am happy it paid off. 

My tip of the day is…. don’t run, just do it like Nike.
