I still have some amazing Summer pieces I would love to share with you with some incredible styling TIPS as always but I wanted to start preparing for the new season as the weather continues to change. A friend sent me a message this morning saying it is raining and cold in London. Are you in London, please share your thoughts about the London weather now in the comments below. For now, let’s talk about this look and some styling TIPS, shall we?
Outfit of the Day ::: Trouser With Belt & Pop of Colour Jumper
Today’s look is an effortless one and a perfect one to try in the new season. For this look, I was wearing a cropped belted trouser with a horizontal stripe light weight jumper with a pop of colour. To finish my look, I wore a pair of mustard shoes to compliment the mustard on my jumper. And voila, my outfit of the day.
Mere looking at the jumper, it looks, well just ordinary but with great styling, it is really truly chic. If I can say so myself, I love this look.
And when looking for a pop of colour for your black and white ensemble, red is not the only colour you can try, other colours like orange, emerald green and any other colours would work. As you can see, this mustard worked just fine on this look.
I was wearing
Zara Belted Trousers | United Colours of Benetton Jumper | Fabrizio Viti Shoes

Styling TIPS Today
When styling stripes, if you are on the heavy side or a full size woman, it is best you go for vertical stripes. Vertical stripes make you look taller and “thinner” because the lines run from up to down. On the other hand, horizontal stripes makes you look fuller because the lines run from side to side.
So, when styling a trouser like this, for the tall, thin woman, you can get away with any kinds of shoes – heels or flats but for my tiny or petite ladies, crop pants can make you look shorter so it is best to pair your own crop pants with heels – stilettos, wedges and any shoes that would make you look taller.
Finally on styling TIPS today, when transitioning into Autumn / Winter – a.k.a cold season, one of the best ways to start is by pairing your Summer pants with a jumper. I am hopeful to re-style this pants with ankle boots when the weather gets colder.
