Every Monday for the past 4 years, I have come up with contents that would motivate, inspire, empower and encourage you to be who you want to be irrespective of the circumstances you may be faced with or surrounded by or issues of life that may be giving you that limiting mindset to still go out there and do what you have to do to be who you truly want to be. I come out here and say, “YOU CAN DO IT”. I turned myself to your “Cheerleader of dreams” while working on being who I was called to be too.
However, in the past couple of weeks, I have been very worried because we have had instances of suicide yet again. Not that suicide is good for anyone but one that was truly shocking to us all was that of the owner of the fashion brand, Kate Spade. Ms Spade was said to have committed suicide at age 55. The question is, what could have caused this?
While it is not in my place to know all about what caused that suicide, I sure know that it is NOT RIGHT for me to share another motivation post on achieving your life goals if I do not share this post, addressing this subject of depression and suicide. I believe it is the place of ALL OF US to speak out on this subject of depression and suicidal thoughts. In just 30 seconds, I did my bit. If there is one thing anyone of us should do if we ever feel depressed or feel blue or low in the spirit, it is for us to speak out. Please do check out the 30 seconds video I shared to help someone stay alive….
Whether I share the best motivational or encouraging contents or I share the best mindset training tips for positivity and success, if someone is feeling low, blue or depressed or even suicidal, there is no way they can do anything about the TIPS I share if they are not alive. For You and I, the awareness we create about staying alive, depression or suicide, can help keep someone stay sane, stay safe or stay alive. So, today, I want to challenge YOU, YES YOU reading to make your own video to share one TIP on how to help someone speak up and help keep them alive.
And for us all, if we can’t help someone who is depressed or down, let’s not judge them. Let’s not point the usual accusing finger of it is your fault to them. Let’s give them a listening ear, encourage them and guide them to seek help or get counsel. Don’t judge anyone. Don’t judge anybody because until we walk on people’s shoes, we really may not know what they are going through. And finally, if someone you know all of a sudden become distant, not calling or texting anymore or not going out, please reach out, you just may “speak out to save their life”. Y’all know there is no way I would say, don’t pray. Do pray, prayer is good, very good indeed but in the case of depression and suicidal thoughts, don’t just try to pray it away, SPEAK OUT and you just may save a life…..
I was wearing: Dress by Gestuz (old) Similar HERE | Zara Heels (old)
Now, I can relax that have done my bit by writing this blog and making this video to shed a light on the subject of depression and taking ones life. Would you be able to shed some light too? Please do.
I want to thank you so much for stopping by and for reading this post. Let’s all be our brother’s and sisters’ keeper. Let’s look out for one another and we may just keep someone safe and alive.
Do take care and please stay safe
Much Love, Mojisola

A listening ear…that is key to saving many! If only we listened to those in need…and listened with our hearts… and like you wrote – Speak out! You’re so right in that we may be able to help even one person…thanks for your continued sage advise Mojisola!
Thank you Linda.
Do take care.
Cheers
I agree with you and Linda, we all need each other and to speak out. Will hold on to that, not only for me but to be my Sister’s keeper.
Thanks Moj
