Looking for dresses that are long enough for my height is always a challenge. I however have a few ones in my closet which I would call “investment pieces”. The one I have on is one of them. Not only does it fit well, it is long enough and perfect for this season. I particularly love it because I have worn it dressed up with heels, glam hair and make up.

Today, I decided to wear it “more casually” and simply with little accessories, minimal make up and let the dress be the centre of focus. Although my shoes weren’t photographed, I was wearing some wedges.

If you are as tall as me or if you have difficulty in finding style pieces that suit, learn to do alteration. It will save you loads of money.

If you hate to do alteration, most “high end” fashion are always generous in length. Most of them do not hem their denims, dresses and so on so you can do it to your own specification. Did you know that before now?

  7. Very pretty maxi! I don’t have the problem with the height – I’m a mere 5 ft 3 3/4 inch – many of the maxis are too long for me 🙂
